“Umn..huh?”
Whoops, someone tapped me.
When I woke up, the girls were standing in front of me.
* * *
“Hmmm…”
The principal woke up, combing the hair that had been pressed against my shoulder and coughing awkwardly. The girls stared at the principal with cold eyes, as if they were looking at an old cow aiming for the fresh grass.
“I haven’t been able to sleep lately .”
“ Really?”
“Of course! While the cadets were on an academy trip, I was busy catching up on overdue tasks .”
When the girls heard that, they looked at the principal’s face and nodded in agreement.
‘What are you looking at?’
The only difference I noticed was that the makeup was a little heavy, but as a woman themselves, they viewed it differently.
Sensing the tension in the air, Syrah lightly opened her mouth.
“Haha. If the principal had any conscience, she wouldn’t target students, right?”
Tremble—
The principal averted his eyes.
“And Ian is also a man. A man prefers a younger woman at least a little, don’t you think?”
When Syrah gave me a glance, I ignored her and turned my gaze toward the dungeon.
“Let’s go in.”
“Huh? Why won’t you answer? Don’t tell me you really .”
“Noisy.”
Stopping Syrah’s fluttering mouth, I entered the Infinite Dungeon with the cadets.
Leaving behind the noisy group, my mind drifted back to what I had seen in the Duke of Eritz’s estate.
‘Advanced demons They shouldn’t have appeared yet.’
According to the game’s story, it was too early for such monsters. Advanced demons were enemies that regular players would never encounter this early in the narrative.
In the game, only those who spent tens of thousands of won per month—or played tirelessly—stood a chance against these enemies. Defeating them otherwise required either an absurd amount of money or insane dedication.
‘I need to get stronger faster.’
People in this world weren’t supported or limited by the game’s system, which was both a risk and an opportunity.
In the game, it was impossible to summon hundreds of creatures to fight alongside one demon, but that limitation didn’t exist here.
‘I need to incorporate the system’s power.’
However, I had no intention of spreading this knowledge recklessly—and even if I wanted to, there wasn’t a way to do so freely.
For now, the Infinite Dungeon was the only place where others could receive the system’s benefits. Its rules were set: entry restrictions applied, and only three companions could join at a time.
‘Unimportant NPCs can’t even enter this place.’
Everyone here was destined to become a hero within the story. And I?
I was here to raise those heroes.
“Let’s go in.”
I opened the door to the first floor and shut it behind us. The girls, already familiar with what awaited them inside, summoned their creatures without hesitation.
Together, we were one complete warrior.
* * *
30th floor.
Keek-!
Anna drove her sword into the neck of the monster writhing beneath my feet.
The creature gave a final shudder before going still.
Syrah, watching the monster’s lifeless form, commented with intrigue.
“This is a monster we’ve never seen before.”
“ Really?”
I couldn’t know every monster that existed in this world. Either they were in the game, or they weren’t.
But to the women of this world, things worked differently.
“It means this tower holds some academic value.”
“And how does that help?”
“Monster research is one of the most sought-after professions. Didn’t you know?”
“Really?”
I had no idea. In mobile games, the only bosses you couldn’t beat were the ones you didn’t have enough money for.
I scooped up some by-products left behind by the lower demons and asked, “Should we head back?”
By the time we finished our hunt in the Infinite Dungeon, it was lunchtime. The girls, worn out from fighting, began complaining about their hunger.
Syrah, seizing the moment, suggested we eat together.
“Why don’t we all share what we’ve been up to this past week?”
The idea was to exchange stories—what had happened while we were apart and how they enjoyed their academy trip to another estate.
“Well .”
The invasion of the Eritz estate was classified information, so Stella hesitated over whether to mention it during lunch.
While she deliberated, I nodded to show I understood.
“Alright then, let’s meet in town by 1 o’clock.”
After Syrah left, Stella grabbed me and whispered urgently.
“What are you doing?”
“What do you mean?”
“What happened in Eritz is a secret. You know that, right?”
“Of course. Don’t worry.”
With a grin, I reassured her.
Trying to act suspiciously, like she was, would only raise more questions.
Stella sighed, nodding in agreement.
“Alright then .”
“Hey.”
“What now?”
“ Are you really going to keep wearing your academy uniform?”
“Yeah.”
“Let’s go buy some clothes.”
“There’s only an hour left.”
“That’s plenty of time.”
Stella took the lead without waiting for a response.
I followed her silently.
Sponsor Chapters at the Patreon Shop: Along with BuymeaCoffee where you can now make payments in your local currency.
The Shop section on Patreon can be used as a way to make a one-time-payment. I will be creating products in the Shop section with the title of the webnovels. It will only have an image as the product, but it will count as the payment for the Sponsored Chapters.
For example: You will buy the product with the title “Flower Stealing Master” to sponsor a chapter for the novel. As far as I know, you can buy the same product multiple times, so you should be able to sponsor as many chapters you want. I hope it was easy to understand.
