Chapter 112: Rivers of Bl00d

Tian Fan stood silently on the earth, his white robes stained with bl00d.

The Yin-Yang Sword hung diagonally in his hand.

At his feet, a headless c0rpse was still gushing bl00d, striking fear into the hearts of everyone around.

“Elder!”

“No! You b*stard, give me your life!”

A group of disciples from the Yin-Yang Sect charged over from afar, eyes bl00dshot and filled with rage.

Pff… Pff…

Tian Fan’s expression was blank, golden light flashing in his eyes. Several of the disciples at the front were immediately flung away, their eyes turning ashen gray as their souls disintegrated. Those who got closer were cleaved in half by a single sword strike, their hearts, livers, intestines, and lungs mixing with bl00d to paint the ground red.

“Heavens! Just his gaze alone is this terrifying!”

“He’s practically invincible!”

Boom—

The earth burst open. Two elderly men with disheveled hair shot up from below. Both of them were seething with fury. But when their eyes fell on the old Yin-Yang Sect woman lying dead at Tian Fan’s feet—and the many corpses scattered in the distance—they trembled fiercely inside.

“You… you’re full of hatred!”

The elder of the Huangpu Family trembled as he pointed at Tian Fan, his entire body shaking with rage.

“A life-or-death battle doesn’t need words. Come.”

Tian Fan’s face was calm as still water, his gaze indifferent. The Yin-Yang Sword dragged against the ground as he stepped toward the two elders, each step exuding such a powerful aura that it was hard for them to even breathe.

“Kill!”

The Huangpu elder exchanged a glance with the azure-robed elder. With a roar, they charged forward together.

Above the azure-robed elder’s head, a small blue hammer materialized. Red lightning crackled around it, distorting the surrounding space. It was his life-bound treasure, one he rarely used.

Boom—

Under the elder’s command, the small hammer rapidly expanded, shooting out rings of red lightning. The surrounding ground crumbled in layers, the shockwaves spreading outward from him. Countless shattered stones soared into the sky, only to be reduced to dust the moment they touched the red currents.

Tian Fan countered with his Five Elements Seal.

The two forces clashed violently, producing blinding light. Eventually, the blue hammer was knocked aside, and the seal was shattered.

Thump, thump—

Tian Fan staggered back a few steps but soon advanced again. At that moment, he was at his peak.

Meanwhile, the two elders had already expended much of their power. In comparison, Tian Fan held the upper hand—and with the sacred fruit in his possession, he had no need to worry about running out of strength.

Boom—

The Huangpu elder went all out, pulling a jade-carved disk from his robes and flinging it forward. A massive red formation emerged, filled with surging killing intent. Thick currents of murderous energy condensed into solid forms, like storms of wrathful gods and devils. Wherever they passed, the land was reduced to powder. The sky darkened, thunderclouds gathered, and crimson light flickered—like a heavenly tribulation.

This was the Huangpu Clan’s ultimate killing formation—Crimson Cloud Killing Formation—finally unleashed by the elder. It was far more powerful than when Huangpu Han had used it before.

“You’ll be disappointed. This can’t hold me.”

Tian Fan spoke coldly, his speed reaching an extreme. His Divine Cloud Step was unmatched in the world. In a blink, he charged out of the formation, the Yin-Yang Sword slashing downward. A towering silver sword beam erupted, filled with destructive might, tearing through the void with a sharp hiss.

Bang—

The blue hammer instantly expanded a hundredfold, dragging a fl00d of red light with it. It hovered before the Huangpu elder, blocking the devastating strike.

“Thanks.”

The Huangpu elder nodded slightly at the azure-robed elder.

“No need. We’re on the same ship—it’s only natural.”

The azure-robed elder was surprised. Hearing a martial family elder say “thanks” was no small thing.

“Alright. Let’s go. Let’s kill this demon!”

The Huangpu elder drew a pitch-black demonic blade once again. With both hands on the hilt, he charged forward, his movements erratic, shifting left and right unpredictably.

Tian Fan frowned slightly. As expected of a martial family, their heritage was truly formidable. This bizarre movement technique was awe-inspiring. Even with his Desire Without Trace ability, he couldn’t fully grasp the elder’s movement path.

“Demon God Slash!”

A cold voice suddenly rang out behind Tian Fan, startling him. He swung the Yin-Yang Sword backward in a diagonal arc.

Bang—

The strike was ruthless. If it weren’t for Tian Fan’s Divine Cloud Step allowing him to react in time, blocking with his sword, he might have already lost his head. Even so, the overwhelming force of the attack still made him cough up a mouthful of bl00d.

Boom—

At the same time, a giant hammer the size of a small mountain descended from the sky. The air in front of it ignited, red lightning crackled around it, and the space itself rumbled with an oppressive roar—it was terrifying beyond words.

Bang…

Tian Fan’s gaze turned icy.

A golden fist shot upward against the descending force, his Qi and bl00d surged wildly through his body, and the golden bl00d Qi filled the entire area. With a thunderous roar, he directly sent the mountain-sized blue hammer flying.

“My god, is that even human?”

“He’s like a rampaging tyrannosaurus!”

“Totally inhuman!”

The many cultivators in the distance were all stunned. Their scalps tingled, and their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. The disciples of the Yin-Yang Sect turned pale with fear. Just what kind of person had they provoked?

“It’s rude not to reciprocate. Why don’t you try taking one of my moves?”

Tian Fan’s face was slightly pale as he stood up. His white robe fluttered despite the absence of wind. His hands moved quickly, forming intricate hand seals. A golden light flashed in his right hand as the Yin-Yang Sword slashed down with force.

Boom!

In his left hand, a silver energy sphere appeared. It started out the size of a soccer ball but gradually compressed to the size of a ping pong ball, radiating terrifying energy waves that swept outward.

The azure-robed elder’s expression changed instantly. Such a high concentration of divine power was no joke. If he took that hit head-on, he’d be lucky to survive at all. His nerves tensed as he swung his massive blue hammer, nearly shattering the space around him.

Elsewhere, the elder from the Huangpu Clan dared not be careless either. Tian Fan’s Yin Yang Sword released a massive golden sword pillar, around which nine golden ancient characters circled like a small dragon, wrapping tightly around the blade.

Boom!

It was a clash of unimaginable ferocity. Tian Fan attacked both elders at once with divine techniques, causing the very void to crack with a loud snap, on the verge of collapse.

“Pfft… Pfft…”

Both the Huangpu elder and the azure-robed elder vomited bl00d and were sent flying. The blue hammer even developed a visible crack, which broke the azure-robed elder’s heart—this was his life-bound treasure.

The Huangpu elder fared even worse. The nine golden ancient characters were irresistible, exuding supreme majesty, making him feel like he was facing a powerful figure from the Immortal Ascension Realm. His pitch-black demon blade was shattered into pieces.

The area fell silent. Not a sound could be heard. Even breathing felt loud. Everyone stared at the bl00d-stained young man in white at the center of the battlefield, momentarily dazed.

“Cough… Cough…”

The two elders coughed bl00d and struggled to their feet, fear written on their faces. They couldn’t believe that this young man had pushed them this far with just mid-stage Cloud Heaven cultivation. If he reached the peak, or even stepped into the Primordial Unity Realm, what kind of power would he wield? They didn’t dare imagine.

The azure-robed elder was filled with regret. He had long heard that Tian Fan was a descendant of the gods, bearing divine bl00d. Why had he still chosen to make an enemy of him? Now, there was no going back—it was a fight to the death.

Tian Fan looked extremely pale, his body swaying slightly. The powerful techniques had nearly drained all his divine power. But he didn’t seem worried. With a flash of light, a purple fruit appeared in his hand. There was already a small bite taken out of it—from earlier. Its rich fragrance wafted through the air. He gently bit into it again, and his energy, spirit, and vitality instantly became one. His face flushed with color, a soft purple glow shimmered across his body, and divine power surged through him like a roaring river. He felt stronger than ever before.

If others knew he used a sacred fruit to replenish qi, they’d probably band together just to rob him. That was an outrageous waste—one sacred fruit could extend life by 500 years. It was a treasure capable of reviving the dead and healing the gravely wounded.

The Huangpu elder and the azure-robed elder looked as if they’d swallowed bitter herbs. Both had sustained severe internal injuries, and their divine power was down to less than forty percent. Meanwhile, Tian Fan, now at his peak with divine power restored by the sacred fruit, was in a completely different state. The odds were no longer in their favor.

“Um… Young Master Tian Fan, this old man was foolish and lost his head for a moment. I shouldn’t have attacked you. Let’s just leave things here. You haven’t really lost anything, right? Just consider it as me owing you a favor. If you ever need anything or have a wish, I will definitely fulfill it.”

The azure-robed elder looked extremely awkward. Saying such words was humiliating, but if he didn’t, he would undoubtedly die. There was no doubt about it.

“Yes, let’s end this here. The Huangpu Clan will no longer trouble you. It was all that brat Huangpu Han’s fault. I’ll teach him a lesson when I get back. Haha… Our Huangpu Clan respects the strong—we could totally be good friends.”

The Huangpu elder forced a smile as he spoke.

Everyone watching was stunned. Their jaws practically hit the floor. What was this? Members of a prestigious martial family begging for peace from someone with no background, using such humble tones?

“Hahaha…”

Tian Fan burst into laughter upon hearing them, making both elders flush red with embarrassment.

“End it here? Haha. What, so I let you go now, and you go back to bring people from the Primordial Unity Realm to hunt me down again? Do you think I’m some clueless little kid?”

The expressions on the two elders instantly changed. A ruthless gleam flashed in their eyes. They hadn’t expected Tian Fan to be so sharp or so fearless of ancient martial families. Anyone else would’ve shown at least some fear—after all, those families were not to be trifled with.

“Time to die. Blame yourselves.”

Tian Fan said coldly and appeared in front of them in an instant. His golden palm struck out.

Pfft…

Pfft…

Both elders were sent flying again, bl00d spraying wildly. Their bodies even cracked.

“You—!”

The Huangpu elder glared at Tian Fan with venomous eyes, but all he got in return was a golden slap to the face. He was flung away again, as miserably as Yin Shitian had been before.

“Kill him! Protect the elders!”

From behind, a group of young men charged forward despite their fear, showing no regard for death.

Tian Fan sneered.

The Yin-Yang Sword in his hand burst with golden light, and a dazzling slash swept out like the scythe of death, cutting several young disciples in half on the spot.

Bl00d flowed like a river, dyeing the ground red.

The sun was about to set.

The land had been completely stained with bl00d.

Dozens of corpses lay scattered, and Tian Fan stood quietly amidst it all. His black hair fluttered without wind, his expression cold.

The Yin Yang Sword still dripped bl00d, like a demon lord descending from another world—striking fear into the soul.
