Chapter 102: Carving a Bl00dy Path

“Die!”

The master of the Golden Spirit Hall bellowed as more than a dozen men behind him charged forward, their killing intent surging.

Boom!

Tian Fan’s expression was cold as he swung his golden palm forward, instantly shattering several divine artifacts. These were peculiar magical treasures, but they weren’t sturdy enough, and their fragments scattered across the ground.

Swish…

A chilling black light shot toward Tian Fan’s forehead, aiming directly at his head. It was a three-foot-long black dagger, intent on killing him in one strike.

Tian Fan retreated. This dagger was no ordinary weapon—it bore intricate and mysterious patterns, making it clear that it held hidden secrets.

As expected, countless black talismans suddenly emerged, sealing the surrounding space and forming a cage. The dagger shattered on its own, transforming into a hellish prison filled with flashing red lightning. Anyone caught inside would be instantly reduced to ashes.

Around Tian Fan, countless silver characters flickered, rising and falling around him, while a sacred aura spread in all directions.

“Kill him!”

Someone shouted, and a massive earth-colored palm emerged from the crowd, covering the sky as it pressed downward, attempting to crush Tian Fan into pulp.

“Heh…”

Tian Fan sneered. His physical body was immensely powerful, capable of rivaling experts from the Primordial Unity. Yet, this person dared to confront him physically—clearly seeking death. His golden fist met the attack head-on.

Bang!

The massive, dust-colored palm trembled violently before being blasted high into the sky, blood raining down.

“What? The Mirage Cloud Cavern, known for its physical body refinement, actually fell before him!”

Tian Fan remained indifferent. A golden sun spun between his brows, radiating boundless light. A golden celestial sword shot out, soaring like a true dragon, its brilliance dazzling. In an instant, it slew several approaching enemies, leaving only a lingering mist of blood in the air.

“What are you all waiting for? Kill this so-called Son of God and avenge our fallen geniuses!”

High above the valley, Yin Shitian shouted.

At the same time, several enormous hands reached down from the heavens. Terrifying figures had made their move, their overwhelming aura shaking the skies. These were beings who had already set one foot into the Primordial Unity.

“The reason your disciples are so despicable and shameless is because they take after you old fools,” Tian Fan said coldly, looking up at the sky with mocking disdain.

“How dare you kill the Sword Immortal Sect’s prodigies! You have slaughtered the heirs of many sects. Your crimes are beyond redemption. We will not allow you to live—your lowly life shall pay for your sins!”

Above the heavens, three massive hands reached down, blotting out the sky and radiating waves of divine law. Though these figures had yet to fully step into the Primordial Unity, they were already terrifyingly close.

Around Tian Fan, countless silver characters continued to rise and fall, radiating dazzling divine light as they shielded him.

Boom!

The three hands crashed down, striking Tian Fan and sending him flying. He spat out a mouthful of blood. If not for his incredibly strong physique, he would have been gravely injured or even annihilated. These hands contained traces of divine law, making them incredibly dangerous.

“What are you waiting for? This villain has killed countless sect prodigies—his crimes shake the heavens! We must not let him go. Let’s kill him, extract his soul, and send him into eternal torment!” someone shouted, their intentions sinister.

Tian Fan’s eyes turned cold. The ones shouting were all people who had once tried to ambush him but had been spared by him in the end.

“Even beasts know gratitude, yet you are worse than animals!”

“Hmph! You are a ruthless killer, drenched in blood. From the perspective of justice, we have no choice but to eliminate you. Otherwise, the world will face great calamity!” someone retorted loudly, rallying the others to attack.

“Enough talk. We take his head today!”

On the other side, someone from the Mystic Shadow Pavilion shouted as a fiery scythe slashed forward, seeking to cut through everything.

At the same time, a blinding light surged into the sky, filled with blood-colored energy. A figure from the Divine Wind Hall stepped forward, hurling several divine thunderbolts.

Countless people in the crowd joined in, unleashing divine power everywhere. The sheer destructive force was unimaginable—it was as if the world itself was ending, and all of it was aimed at a single person.

“You think you can kill me that easily?”

Tian Fan roared, activating the Divine Spirit Heavenly Heart Technique. His golden palm struck out.

Boom!

The impact was immense. It contained the combined might of countless experts. Even though Tian Fan’s physical strength rivaled that of Primordial Unity cultivators, he was still forced back. His face paled slightly, and blood trickled from the corner of his lips.

“Attack! Kill him!”

A boundless killing intent filled the air as a group of young prodigies surged forward, their bloodlust soaring. The ones Tian Fan had slain were the future hopes of their sects—losses they could not afford to bear.

It was foreseeable that for a long time to come, these sects would be severely weakened. Their brightest hopes had been wiped out, leaving them vulnerable and uncertain about the future.

“Fine! Then today, I shall slaughter to my heart’s content. This place will be drenched in blood!”

Tian Fan roared. Lotus flowers bloomed beneath his feet, while a golden “swast!ka” symbol appeared above his head. Eighty-one silver sword lights manifested around him, lotus leaves dancing through the air.

Instead of retreating, he charged forward. Eighty-one sword beams radiated boundless killing intent, cutting through everything in their path.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

Several cultivators on the verge of reaching the Cloud Heaven Realm were slain, their bodies shredded by the silver sword aura, dying with eyes wide open in disbelief.

Puff!

Tian Fan shouted, and a sky-shaking silver sword energy burst forth, carrying a destructive aura as it descended. Several people were instantly shattered, turning into a mist of blood that scattered across the heavens and earth.

“Everyone, attack together! Sacrifices are inevitable, but today, we must kill this fiend!”

The person who had first incited the attack spoke again. Tian Fan coldly gazed at him before instantly moving forward without a word. His eyes were icy as he threw a punch.

“Pu—”

The man was torn apart on the spot, his body reduced to pieces that scattered onto the ground.

“You devil! How dare you fight back!”

The Hall Master of Golden Spirit Hall roared in fury. A dragon-headed blade appeared in his hand, its sharp, chilling glow emanating an aura of death—it had undoubtedly slain countless people.

From another direction, an overwhelming aura surged forth. Yet another terrifying elder appeared, clad in azure-gold battle armor. He strode out from the crowd like a war god, stepping forward to stand beside the Golden Spirit Hall Master.

“So what if you’re the Son of God? You kill the young heroes of various sects as you please, and now you dare wield your blade against your own senior brothers’ spirits? You must be executed!”

This man was clearly hostile. He didn’t belong to any sect—he was just a rogue cultivator. However, if he could kill Tian Fan, he would reap immense benefits.

“Two decrepit old men—living this long was a waste. They wanted to kill me, so why shouldn’t I fight back? If they were stronger, they’d still be alive. Blame their own weakness!” Tian Fan said indifferently, sneering at the old man’s words.

A golden “swast!ka” seal floated above Tian Fan’s head, casting down shimmering golden light, firmly protecting him.

“Unbelievable! You dare disrespect your elders now—if you succeed in the future, wouldn’t you kill as you please? We must eliminate you today!”

The armored elder spoke coldly, lifting his foot and stomping down. He was even more terrifying than the Golden Spirit Hall Master.

“Kill him!”

The younger disciples roared, their murderous intent surging.

“You lot? You can’t kill me!”

Tian Fan was anxious, but he did not reveal it. He thrust his golden fist forward.

The Golden Spirit Hall Master snorted coldly and stepped forward, swinging his dragon-headed blade. A dazzling blade light slashed out, sending chills down everyone’s spine—it was terrifying.

“Pu—”

The two terrifying elders attacked simultaneously. Tian Fan couldn’t withstand them. The Golden Spirit Hall Master’s strike left a deep wound on his body, nearly exposing the bone. If not for his freakishly strong physique, he would have been cleaved in half.

Above, the elder in azure-gold armor revealed a cold smile as he once again stepped down, aiming for Tian Fan’s head to crush him alive.

“Heaven-Crushing Kick!”

Someone gasped. This elder had actually mastered this legendary leg technique. No one knew who had originally created the Heaven-Crushing Kick, but it had once dominated an era.

The void trembled. His foot descended, shattering the earth into pieces. Tian Fan swiftly used his Divine Cloud Step to dodge, but he was still struck by the residual force of the Heaven-Crushing Kick, causing his internal energy to surge chaotically.

“Brothers, attack! Kill him! Let his death pave the way for your advancement!”

The younger brother of the Divine Wind Hall Master shouted as he and the two elders retreated, letting the younger generation charge forward, using this battle as a trial by blood.

“Kill!”

A crowd charged forward, their battle cries shaking the mountains and rivers, causing the surrounding canyons to tremble.

Boom! Boom!

The overwhelming force forced Tian Fan to take a few steps back, his face filled with shock. “Too many ants can kill an elephant”—this saying wasn’t unfounded. While none of these people had reached the mid-stage of the Cloud Heaven Realm, there were plenty at the early stage, and they posed a real threat to his life.

“I have to break through!”

Tian Fan thought to himself. This place was too dangerous—he would collapse from exhaustion if this dragged on.

“Pu—”

He threw a punch, exploding the head of a man to his left. Brain matter and blood splattered through the air, but at the same time, a blade slashed across his back, drawing fresh blood.

Bang!

Tian Fan swept his right leg sideways, sending several opponents flying. His golden fists continued to smash in all directions, one after another falling at his feet. However, he was also taking hits—his entire body was soaked in blood, his face pale.

Fighting while retreating, he finally found the perfect opportunity. The golden glow of the “swast!ka” seal above his head flared brilliantly, dazzling to the extreme.

“Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu!” (G: some part of me wants to keep it as Bankai, Heaven-Locking Moon Slash, but I kick it down to hell.)

Tian Fan’s cold voice rang out. The “swast!ka” seal above his head transformed into divine light, enveloping him.

A golden energy sword materialized in his right hand, radiating waves of destruction.

Boom—”

A terrifying energy erupted. Holding his golden divine sword, he slashed across the air with all his might. In that direction, there were only a few people—the strongest among them was merely at the peak of the Spirit Condensation Realm.

“Pu—”

None survived. They were all struck, their bodies shattered into mist, dispersing into the air. A massive gap suddenly opened in the encirclement.

Seizing the moment, Tian Fan stepped onto the Divine Cloud Step and instantly darted through, disappearing into the horizon in the blink of an eye…
