Chapter 2: Amelia Iori Lionheart and Kim Hyunjin (part 1)

Amelia’s mansion was luxurious, but it didn’t end there.

“Wow, this is just like what I saw in the…”

The chandelier and pottery exuded elegance at a glance. The ornaments throughout the place filled my view, a perfect reproduction of scenes I remembered from the animation. Honestly, it was hard not to get excited—seeing the places from my favorite works in real life was like a dream come true.

After a moment, Amelia spoke first.

“How is it? What do you think of the Lionheart family’s mansion?”

“It’s just a mansion. What more should I expect?” I replied with a shrug.

“Argh! That won’t do! Ed, let’s take some time to introduce him properly to the Lionheart mansion!”

“Alright.”

Amelia gave a theatrical shrug, puffing out her chest proudly.

I struggled to know where to look, yet there was something mesmerizing about her presence.

“Hmm! This is where the wealth of the Lionheart family has accumulated—a treasure trove of artifacts passed down through hundreds of years!” she declared with a smug grin.

“I see.”

Though Amelia was passionately explaining, my attention drifted toward her rather than the objects.

“Huh? Do I have something on my face?” she asked, tilting her head.

Her demeanor—so familiar to the character I knew—felt cute and charming.

“No, nothing.”

“Well, it’s understandable if you’re overwhelmed! Oh-ho-ho-ho!” she laughed, her distinct aristocratic chuckle intact.

Hearing that laugh made me suppress a grin.

“By the way, have you eaten yet?” she asked suddenly.

“No. The conversation just dragged on.”

We had spent nearly an hour touring the mansion. Amelia had a streak of narcissism and embodied the image of an aristocrat trying her best to practice noblesse oblige. Though it came off as a little self-conscious, it was endearing. After all, isn’t that what a heroine in a romantic comedy is supposed to be like?

“I’m sorry if I’ve delayed your meal,” she said.

“No, it’s my fault. Still, how about a bath before we eat?”

“A bath?”

“Ed!”

At Amelia’s call, Ed, an elderly butler, snapped his fingers, and a maid appeared, bowing lightly.

“This way, sir.”

I gave a small nod and followed her as she led me to a massive bathhouse.

“Please take your time. I’ll have a change of clothes ready here,” she said before leaving with another polite bow.

The bathhouse was incredible—water poured from a lion-shaped fountain, and the space was vast enough to fit fifty people comfortably.

“This is just like the scenes…” I murmured.

It reminded me of a scene from the Blu-ray special episode where Ryunosuke and Amelia had shared a mixed bath. I shook off the thought—there were more pressing matters to think about.

Why am I even here, inside this world?

The situation was surreal.

Looking back at the series, I knew the author Kentaro Murasame was eccentric, but this was beyond imagination. His world had somehow become my reality.

“Well, nothing to do but roll with it.”

I sank into the hot water and relaxed.

Shingo Kurosawa’s body—the one I now inhabited—felt incredibly strong, much stronger than my original body. Tasks like lifting a bag of cement, which had once been a struggle, now seemed effortless.

I remembered the brief scuffle with a street thug earlier—it was a testament to the body’s strength, perhaps even superhuman.

However, the bigger mystery remained: if this body belonged to Shingo Kurosawa, where had his spirit gone?

“…I don’t know.”

Regardless, there was no point dwelling on it. The warmth of the water was real, grounding me in this new reality. Everything here felt authentic, including Amelia Iori Lionheart.

“It’s warm…”

When was the last time I had a moment to relax like this?

My thoughts drifted.

Could I adjust to a life like this? One so different from the cycle of work, home, games, manga, and anime I had lived every day?

Only time will tell.

At least, Shingo’s memories remained intact. He had been abandoned by his parents, who fled into the night after falling for a scam.

Shingo had siblings—an older brother and sister—but I could only recall their names, nothing more.

“Well, I better finish up and get going.”

I couldn’t keep Amelia waiting for too long.

With my thoughts somewhat organized, I climbed out of the bath.

When I returned, the clothes I had taken off were gone, replaced by a fresh set.

A note lay on top, reading:

“Your clothes have been washed. Please change into these.”

To my relief, my phone and wallet were still there.

“…What?”

I almost laughed in disbelief when I saw the clothes—an immaculate butler’s uniform.

While strange, I quickly recalled an episode where Amelia had forced Ryunosuke into a housekeeper’s outfit, finding it amusing.

Sponsor Chapters at the Patreon Shop:  Along with BuymeaCoffee.

The Shop section on Patreon can be used as a way to make a one-time-payment. I will be creating products in the Shop section with the title of the webnovels. It will only have an image as the product, but it will count as the payment for the Sponsored Chapters.

For example: You will buy the product with the title “Flower Stealing Master” to sponsor a chapter for the novel. As far as I know, you can buy the same product multiple times, so you should be able to sponsor as many chapters you want. I hope it was easy to understand.
