Chapter 22: The Power of the Yin-Yang Sword

With a single word, “brother,” an overwhelming surge of emotions welled up in Tian Fan’s heart. Who said that men are only obsessed with women? There is another kind of feeling that can make heroes unafraid of life and death!

“Xiao Fan, don’t act impulsively! He has the Yin-Yang Sword; you are no match for him,” Sun Yueying said, quickly pulling him back as she saw Tian Fan about to charge forward.

“Hmph! Sun Yueying, even if you step forward, those I, Yin Shitian, intend to k!ll have never had a chance to survive!” The Yin-Yang Young Master coldly snorted, revealing his true name.

Tian Fan gently pushed away Sun Yueying’s hand, taking a step forward. With the azure sword’s silver light soaring into the sky, he coldly said, “Come on, Yin Shitian, let’s see what your Yin-Yang Sword can do against me!”

“Hmph! A firefly dares to compete with the bright moon! You don’t know whether to live or die!” Yin Shitian sneered. Without summoning his true essence, he simply raised his hand and swung his sword.

A black light burst forth from the Yin-Yang Sword, rushing towards Tian Fan like a whip. Tian Fan swung the azure sword, unleashing a silver sword ray that collided with the black whip. The sword ray was instantly shattered. However, the sword light that Yin Shitian casually released retained its momentum and continued to strike straight at Tian Fan.

A serious expression appeared on Tian Fan’s face as he was forced to retreat ten steps. He raised the azure sword high and, with a powerful downward strike, shattered the black sword light that Yin Shitian had sent forth.

“Not bad, kid! You managed to take that blow. Although it took you eleven strikes, I thought you would be injured by that attack,” Yin Shitian remarked, showing no surprise at Tian Fan’s ability to withstand the strike, as if he had anticipated it all along. Nevertheless, he taunted without holding back.

“You want to injure me? You’re far from it! Without that sword, I could beat you to the point where even your mother wouldn’t recognize you!” Tian Fan shot a sideways glance at Yin Shitian, laughing loudly.

“Haha! Well said, Xiao Fan! You have to scold such people!” Li Yunyang laughed heartily, not caring about the situation, while even the tense Sun Yueying managed a smile.

The people behind Yin Shitian watched in shock. What on earth were these people? Didn’t they know that the Yin-Yang Young Master was known for being powerful and ruthless among the younger generation? Holding the Yin-Yang Sword, most people would tremble upon seeing him, fearing that they might provoke him and bring disaster upon themselves. Yet today, these people spoke to him so casually, as if they didn’t regard him at all!

“You… very well! I take back what I said. Today, not a single one of you will leave here alive; you will all die!” Yin Shitian’s face darkened to the point of almost dripping with water, as if a layer of dark clouds loomed above his head, perfectly matching his name.

The Yin-Yang Sword in his hand emitted a terrifying aura that seized the souls of those nearby. Li Yunyang immediately stopped laughing, his body shaking uncontrollably, unable to bear the k!lling intent emanating from the Yin-Yang Sword.

Sun Yueying, too, was drenched in cold sweat, her face pale, not faring much better than Li Yunyang. This was the pressure from a divine weapon.

A divine weapon that had slain strong opponents in the Immortal Ascension Realm was not something ordinary people could withstand. If it were a powerful figure in the Cloud Heaven Realm wielding the Yin-Yang Sword, both of them would be crushed by the overwhelming pressure, with no chance of escape.

“You’re merely relying on a divine weapon. Without that sword, you are nothing!” Tian Fan braced himself against the immense pressure, his entire body radiating silver light as he stood firmly in front of Li Yunyang and Sun Yueying. The Five Elements Barrier appeared before him, slowly rotating to help resist the chilling k!lling intent from the Yin-Yang Sword.

“Hmph! Break for me!” Yin Shitian bellowed, swinging his sword. This time, the white light transformed into an unmatched sword ray that slashed down towards the Five Elements Formation.

Boom!

The Five Elements Formation in front of Tian Fan shattered instantly, sending him staggering back, spitting blood.

“Xiao Fan, are you okay!?”

Li Yunyang and Sun Yueying were extremely worried and rushed forward to support Tian Fan, asking with concern. Just now, Tian Fan had blocked all the pressure for the two of them alone, and that single strike had left him significantly injured.

“I’m fine!”

Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Tian Fan replied to the two beside him, then turned his gaze back to Yin Shitian.

“In this generation, being able to withstand two strikes from me is quite impressive. Now, as long as you swear to be my servant and let me plant the ‘Yin-Yang Death Curse’ in your soul, I will spare your life. What do you say!?”

Yin Shitian saw that Tian Fan’s strength was actually on par with his own. If it weren’t for the Yin-Yang Sword in his hand, it would be hard to say who would win. Thus, he developed a different idea, wanting to take this person as his servant to serve him.

“Hey, that’s fine, but I have one condition: you have to crawl to me, hand over the Yin-Yang Sword, then slap yourself twice and shout three times, ‘Yin Shitian is shameless!’ How about that? Is it doable?”

Facing Yin Shitian’s “temptation,” Tian Fan said with a sneer.

“You’re seeking death!!”

Hearing Tian Fan’s words, Yin Shitian initially smiled, thinking Tian Fan had compromised, but the following words ignited his fury, an overwhelming murderous intent rolling off him, causing Li Ming and the others behind him to retreat in fear.

Yin Shitian finally raised the precious sword in his hand, the Yin-Yang energy swirling on the sword body. At this point, he was truly angry and prepared to unleash a devastating attack to k!ll the few people in front of him.

On the Yin-Yang Sword, black and white radiance alternated, and the moonlight in the sky converged towards this spot, being absorbed by the Yin-Yang Sword. After absorbing Yin Shitian’s true essence and the moonlight from the sky, the Yin-Yang Sword trembled lightly, the black and white brilliance becoming dazzling.

Yin Shitian raised the Yin-Yang Sword high and slashed towards the group ahead, coldly shouting:

“Yin-Yang Absolute Annihilation!”

Two beams of sword light, one black and one white, instantly separated from the Yin-Yang Sword, condensing into a Yin-Yang diagram in the sky, flying towards Tian Fan to strike.

Watching the Yin-Yang diagram rapidly approaching, Tian Fan’s face changed dramatically. Although there was no overwhelming murderous aura from the formation, he clearly felt the threat of death.

At this moment, there was nothing left to say; strength was the key. His true essence surged wildly within him, and he quickly set up fifteen Five Elements Barriers, but he didn’t stop there. His fingers swiftly formed seals, laying down ten more Five Elements Barriers. He realized that while the Five Elements Barriers were a very powerful secret technique, his own strength was limited, and the Five Elements technique was too profound for him; he hadn’t fully comprehended it. Under the pressure of the Yin-Yang Sword, his current understanding of the Five Elements power was definitely insufficient.

With a total of twenty-five Five Elements Barriers, twenty-five silver formations stood in front of Tian Fan. He was drenched in sweat, nearly exhausted. The Yin-Yang diagram in the air slowly approached, without any terrifying energy fluctuations, but the moment it encountered the Five Elements Barriers, they merely trembled slightly before disappearing into the air.

In an instant, sixteen of the Five Elements Barriers in front of Tian Fan were shattered, and the remaining nine barriers also quivered slightly. It seemed inevitable that the Yin-Yang diagram would reach him.

“Hmph, everyone will die! Remember, in your next life, don’t run into me again!”

With the situation settled, the Yin-Yang Prince sheathed his sword and said lightly.

Behind Tian Fan, Sun Yueying’s face turned pale as she watched the increasingly closer Yin-Yang diagram, seemingly struggling with something, before finally reaching her right hand into her bos0m.
