Chapter 24: Destroying the Zombie King

“Great sword!”

Tian Fan couldn’t help but praise as he gently stroked the luxurious blade of the Yin-Yang Sword in his hand. Li Yunyang and Sun Yueying were stunned, wondering how Yin Shitian had ended up like this. But they quickly realized that all the hidden attacks from earlier had been Tian Fan’s doing.

“Ah, the sword? Where’s my sword? D8mn it, give it back to me!”

Yin Shitian scrambled up from the ground, suddenly realizing that his Yin-Yang Sword had been snatched by Tian Fan, who was now playing with it in his hand. Yin Shitian screamed hysterically.

“Give it back? Sure!”

Tian Fan wielded the sword in his right hand, casually slashing forward. A black light flew out. Yin Shitian felt a chill, his hair standing on end. No one knew the terror of this sword better than him. In an instant, he raised his True Qi to its limit, and the golden net on the ground trembled as it flew up, linking together and emitting a dazzling golden light to shield him.

The black sword light struck, instantly tearing the golden net apart. Though the black light dimmed after breaking through the net, it didn’t disappear and continued slashing toward Yin Shitian.

“Pfft…”

Despite mustering all his strength and forming numerous layers of defense, Yin Shitian was still hit by the black sword light from the Yin-Yang Sword. He spat blood and was sent flying.

“Haha, good job, Xiao Fan!”

Li Yunyang shouted from behind. Earlier, Yin Shitian had used the Yin-Yang Sword to push them to the brink of death. Now it was time for him to taste his own medicine.

“This really is an excellent sword. Just one swing has such power. It deserves to be ranked among the top twenty divine weapons in the Weapon Rankings.”

Tian Fan admired the sword more and more, unable to put it down.

“Damn it! Give me back my sword!”

Bl0od trickled from the corners of Yin Shitian’s mouth as he roared angrily.

“Yin Shitian, I happen to need a suitable weapon. Thank you so much for generously gifting this precious sword to me. I’ll reluctantly accept it.”

Tian Fan’s words were like a slap to Yin Shitian’s face, causing him to cough up another mouthful of blood in fury.

“Give the sword back to me! Otherwise, the entire Yin-Yang Sect won’t let you go. You’ll face endless pursuit, and even the leader of the Great Sealing Sect won’t be able to protect you. Return the sword, and we’ll pretend nothing happened today.”

Yin Shitian, now calmer, spoke in a low voice.

“Do you think that’s possible?”

Tian Fan smiled faintly and replied calmly.

“You better think carefully. If you don’t return the Yin-Yang Sword, you’ll face the entire Yin-Yang Sect’s hunt, and my father, the leader of the Yin-Yang Sect, will not spare you. For a powerful expert in the Hunyuan Realm, killing you would be as easy as crushing an ant!”

“Is that so? Like father, like son. I bet the leader of the Yin-Yang Sect is no good either.”

Tian Fan wasn’t intimidated by his threats and even insulted his father.

“You! You’re dead! How dare you insult the leader of a sect!”

Yin Shitian was on the verge of vomiting blood from anger but didn’t dare risk his life in a fight. He lacked the courage.

“Hmph, so what if I insulted him?”

Tian Fan sneered.

“Fine, we’ll see!”

Yin Shitian turned to leave, heading for the cave entrance. But Tian Fan took a step forward, blocking his way.

“Leaving?”

Seeing Tian Fan blocking his path, Yin Shitian grew fearful and shouted, “What do you want? I’m the son of the Yin-Yang Sect’s leader. You dare touch me?”

“I don’t care whose son you are. Even if you were the son of Shangguan Yuntian, you won’t be leaving here easily!”

Tian Fan smirked. From the start, Yin Shitian had disrespected and tried to kill them. Now that his precious sword had been taken, he thought he could leave after spitting a few harsh words? Tian Fan wasn’t having any of it.

“Shangguan Yuntian? I don’t know him. Don’t bring up trash in front of me. Compared to my father, he’s nothing!”

Yin Shitian still had a sharp tongue, relying on the powerful backing of the Yin-Yang Sect and its Hunyuan Realm expert.

“Hmph! Ignorant fool. If you dared say that in the central region of the Divine Martial Continent, I guarantee you’d be wiped out without a trace!”

Tian Fan’s face turned cold. He didn’t want to waste any more words, so he stepped forward and punched Yin Shitian in the face.

Bang!

The punch landed squarely on Yin Shitian’s nose, shattering the bone. Bl0od poured from his nostrils.

“Ah! You dare hit me!”

Yin Shitian screamed, his True Qi surging.

“I’m hitting you!”

Tian Fan leapt forward, kicking Yin Shitian hard.

Bang!

Yin Shitian was sent flying, slamming into the wall.

Bang!

“Ah!”

He had barely gotten up when another punch hit his left eye, leaving it bruised and swollen.

“I told you, without the Yin-Yang Sword, even your mother wouldn’t recognize you after I’m done!”

Tian Fan shouted coldly, landing an uppercut to Yin Shitian’s chin, sending him flying again. Then Tian Fan jumped up, delivering a series of kicks to his abdomen.

Bang!

“Ah!”

Bang!

“Ah!”

In the belly of the mountain, the sound of fists and kicks striking flesh echoed along with Yin Shitian’s screams.

“Ah, stop!”

Yin Shitian shouted, but before he could finish, a large foot stomped on him, sending him flying once more and causing him to spit out blood.

“Haha, great job, Xiao Fan! Hit him harder!”

Li Yunyang cheered, feeling immensely satisfied as he watched Yin Shitian being beaten. He wanted to join in and land a few kicks himself. Sun Yueying, however, looked serious, knowing this wasn’t going to end well. The leader of the Yin-Yang Sect wouldn’t let Tian Fan off easily.

Li Ming and the others woke up one after another. Rubbing their eyes, they could hardly believe what they were seeing.

“Oh my god, am I seeing this right? The Young Master is being used as a punching bag?”

“This world has gone mad!”

They couldn’t accept the scene before them.

“Old man, trying to run? Let me tell you, today you must die!”

The old zombie tried sneaking out of the cave while Tian Fan was dealing with Yin Shitian, but there was no way Tian Fan would let it go. He swung the Yin-Yang Sword, blocking its escape.

“Roar!”

The Zombie King howled, its entire body enveloped in black light. A cloud of corrosive black mist gathered in its mouth, launching a black orb toward Tian Fan. Without hesitation, Tian Fan raised his sword and slashed, shattering the black orb into countless pieces.

“Ah!”

A sudden scream echoed, and Tian Fan sensed something was wrong.

“Hehe…”

The old zombie grinned maliciously, its claw gripping Sun Yueying’s throat while Li Yunyang lay on the ground after being kicked aside.

“Kid, don’t move, or I’ll kill her!”

“Fine, I won’t move. Just don’t hurt her.”

Tian Fan sheathed the Yin-Yang Sword into his body, standing still while looking at Sun Yueying in the zombie’s grasp.

The old zombie slowly edged toward the cave entrance. When it reached the doorway, it struck Sun Yueying in the back.

“Hehe, I’ll give her back to you!”

Sun Yueying screamed in pain as blood spurted from her mouth, staining her clothes. The old zombie shoved her toward Tian Fan before turning and rushing out of the cave.

“Junior Sister! Cough, cough…”

Li Yunyang shouted, but the effort worsened his injuries, causing him to cough up more blood as he staggered toward them.

Tian Fan caught Sun Yueying in his arms, placing his left hand on her back, frantically channeling his True Qi into her to heal her injuries. At the same time, his eyes coldly locked onto the fleeing zombie’s back. Without any emotion, golden light flickered in his eyes, and a golden sun appeared on his forehead, emitting radiant beams of light.

“Die!”

Tian Fan’s voice rang out like clashing steel. The golden sun on his forehead spun, and divine energy shot out from his eyes like lightning. His immense mental power carried an unwavering intent to kill, silently piercing through the Zombie King’s body and directly striking its soul.

“Ah! No, you’re using that technique…”

The Zombie King screamed, sensing something horrifying, but it was too late. Under Tian Fan’s fatal strike, its body shattered, and its soul was obliterated.
