Chapter 35: Hey, Bro!

“Don’t panic!” I was really at a loss. Why is it that Sister Lin only shows her full force when facing me?

Maybe I was too loud because Sister Lin buried her head in my chest without saying a word. I seemed to have gone too far.

Gao Shuai and those thugs were getting closer. Looking at the height of the wall, I decided to jump over with Sister Lin. But could I really make it?

“Get them, all of you!” Gao Shuai looked at me standing still with a wicked smile on his lips. He seemed to think he was quite handsome, even shaking his bangs. What an idiot.

I couldn’t stay here any longer. If those thugs came at us together, I’d be fine, but what about Sister Lin?

No, I had to jump! Gritting my teeth, I fixed my gaze, took a deep breath, and started to run. Damn it, I was going to risk it all!

“Hmph, struggling in vain!” Gao Shuai was momentarily stunned but quickly figured out my plan. He even used an idiom.

Biting my teeth, I jumped with all my strength. God, help me!

I wasn’t sure if I could make it. Although I had reached the Foundation Establishment stage, carrying Sister Lin while running wasn’t too exhausting, but I still wasn’t confident.

The physical improvements after reaching Foundation Establishment were beyond my expectations. We were about to clear the wall.

Gao Shuai and his thugs were dumbfounded, then started cursing.

“Damn, how could this guy jump so high!”

“This wall is almost three meters high, isn’t it?”

“Is he into parkour?”

“Damn, he almost made it!”

I was about to clear the wall but fell short by a bit. If I fell now, it would be over! No, I am Xia Tian! I can make it!

“Ah!” There was nothing to hold onto in midair, but I used all my strength to jump higher, even straining myself to the limit.

Suddenly, the True Qi in my dantian circulated, and I gained another boost in height, clearing the wall.

“Is this a double jump from a video game?” Gao Shuai’s shocked voice reached me as I landed, followed by a string of curses.

“Phew, safe…” I leaned against the wall, covered in sweat. That was really close.

“That was thrilling!” Sister Lin suddenly looked up, smiling as if she had really enjoyed it.

What a weirdo! She was the one who was scared to death just now.

“Want to go again?” I raised an eyebrow playfully.

Sister Lin’s face turned pale, and she quickly shook her head. “No, no!”

I smiled wryly. It seemed Sister Lin was only brave with her words.

“It’s safe now. You can put me down.” As Sister Lin spoke, I realized our position was indeed a bit inappropriate.

I was about to put her down when she suddenly said, “Xia Tian, your phone is pressing against me.”

I was puzzled. “Phone? What phone? My phone and money are in my back pocket. How could they be pressing against you?”

“Oh, maybe it’s that brick?” Sister Lin guessed.

“I threw the brick away earlier!” I replied irritably.

“Then what is it?” Sister Lin reached down with her hand and suddenly grasped something, her face lighting up with excitement. “I know, it’s your little buddy!”

Damn! When did little Xia Tian get hard? Why didn’t I feel anything? It felt pretty good to have Sister Lin’s hand there.

Wait, it was getting even harder!

“Your, your little buddy!” Sister Lin was laughing but suddenly looked stunned.

Damn! I just realized the situation. This is a real mess!

“Ah!” Sister Lin screamed, hurting my ears, but the real pain was yet to come.

She tried to pull her hand back but was too panicked and ended up gripping little Xia Tian even tighter as she yanked her hand away.

Damn! My family jewels!

But it worked; little Xia Tian immediately calmed down.

“Damn!” I grimaced, feeling a sharp pain. Was I going to be ruined before I even lost my virginity?

Sister Lin, hearing my groans, seemed to realize something. She quickly let go, her face turning red. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to.”

“Get down…” I gritted my teeth, bearing the pain. Why was today so unlucky? Was it because of that fake spirit stone?

After putting Sister Lin down, I turned away and rubbed little Xia Tian, trying to ease the pain. Damn, when did Sister Lin get so strong?

But it wasn’t over. Sister Lin’s voice came again: “Xia Tian is amazing. Even after being squeezed so hard, he can still go on…”

Although her voice was low, I heard every word.

Sister Lin could be really annoying.

I circulated my True Qi, slowly soothing little Xia Tian. Soon, the pain faded away.

“Phew, good thing it’s fine.” I sighed in relief. Luckily, I was a cultivator; otherwise, I’d be in serious trouble.

I turned back and placed my hands on Sister Lin’s shoulders. “Sister Lin, you should go home. I have something to do. I’ll be back later.”

“What are you going to do?” Sister Lin seemed worried. It looked like she cared about me. I smiled. “Don’t worry, it’s nothing. Just go home.”

“But…” Sister Lin seemed reluctant. I had to be firm: “Are you going or not? If you don’t, I’ll deal with you!”

“Then be gentle…” Sister Lin acted like a shy girl, making my mouth dry, and little Xia Tian stirred, forgetting the recent lesson.

“You little pervert, I’m joking!” Sister Lin laughed, patting my shoulder.

I hoped she wouldn’t joke like that again. If I lost control one day, it wouldn’t be good.

Sister Lin turned and walked a few steps, then looked back, worried. “Be careful.”

She seemed to have guessed my intentions…

I sighed. “I will.”

Her figure gradually disappeared from my sight. Now it was time to take care of business.

I, Xia Tian, have never been broad-minded. Since Gao Shuai came looking for trouble, he couldn’t blame me! I didn’t believe those thugs would always stick around him!

Without Sister Lin, I easily jumped onto the wall. The alley was empty, but they couldn’t have gone far.

At the alley’s entrance, I cautiously peeked out. Sure enough, Gao Shuai and his group were still nearby.

Holding my breath, I quietly followed them until they stopped under a big willow tree, seemingly talking. I hid and listened in.

“Damn it! You guys are useless!” Gao Shuai pointed at the thugs, cursing.

The leader of the thugs wasn’t angry. He smiled. “Young Master Gao, you didn’t tell us this kid was so skilled.”

“Hmph!” Gao Shuai snorted, saying nothing.

The thug leader continued, “Young Master Gao, even though we didn’t catch the kid, we did put in a lot of effort. You should pay up.”

“You didn’t catch him, and you still want money? We agreed I’d pay after you broke his leg!” Gao Shuai snapped.

I didn’t expect Gao Shuai to be so ruthless, wanting to break my leg.

“So, Young Master Gao plans to renege?” The thug leader raised an eyebrow and brandished his weapon.

Caught off guard, Gao Shuai quickly took out his wallet and handed over a wad of cash. Although I couldn’t see the exact amount, it looked substantial from the thickness of the bills.

“I trust Young Master Gao’s integrity, so I won’t count it.” Despite his words, the thug leader quickly counted the money, then patted Gao Shuai’s shoulder. “If you have more business, you know where to find me.” He turned to his gang. “Let’s go drink, guys!”

The thugs left noisily, leaving Gao Shuai alone.

“Damn it!” Gao Shuai punched the willow tree in frustration, hurting his hand. He almost cried.

What an idiot.

From their conversation, I figured out a bit. Gao Shuai must have run into me by chance and still held a grudge from last time with Mei Xue, so he hired some thugs to get me. But they failed and he ended up wasting a lot of money. What an idiot. Why could someone like him afford Nike while I, so smart, wore cheap clothes? Life was unfair!

Gao Shuai was still nursing his hand when I quietly approached him from behind, patted his shoulder, and said with a smile, “Hey, bro!”

“Who is it?” Gao Shuai frowned and turned around, looking displeased. But when he saw me, he was so scared that he fell to the ground, pointing at me, stuttering, “I-it’s you!”

“Yes, it’s me.” I smiled warmly, but Gao Shuai was trembling.

“W-what do you want!” He looked as if he had seen a ghost.

I smiled, “Nothing, just helping you with your stutter.” With that, I slapped him across the face.

Gao Shuai was so pampered that he fainted from one slap.

I didn’t hit him again. Although he wanted to break my leg, he didn’t succeed.

Being the good Samaritan that I am, I loved helping others. I stripped him and hung his clothes on the willow tree to let him enjoy the breeze and wake up sooner.

Initially, I planned to leave him with his underwear, but it didn’t look good, so I took it off too.

Feeling satisfied, I whistled and walked away. It felt great to solve a problem and leave quietly.

Sister Lin’s car was gone, so I hailed a taxi to go home.

As I was about to get in, my phone suddenly rang. It was an unfamiliar number. Only a few people usually contacted me, like Fatty and Zhang Yu. Who could it be? Could it be Qin Shousheng?

Well, I might as well answer it.

As soon as I picked up, a melodious voice came through the receiver, “Hello, Xia Tian? This is Xu Xin…”
