With my words, Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue quickly followed me. We had a light lunch at the hotel.
Boarding the flight back to Shanghai, we chatted and laughed the entire way. After the storm comes the rainbow. Securing this major contract in Hainan had put us all in high spirits. In this world, no one cares about the process; only the result matters, and we had achieved it.
The next day at the company, I took the signed contract straight to Sun Dan’s office.
To my surprise, Director Wang was there as well.
“Director Wang, you’re here too?” I smiled quickly.
“Hahaha, Supervisor Lin, you’re back. How did it go in Hainan?” Director Wang asked with a laugh, looking at me.
“Yes, how did it go?” Sun Dan added promptly.
I glanced at Sun Dan. Today she wore a red leather jacket and matching leather skirt that gave her an especially alluring air. Yet there was a faint red mark on her neck, as though left by a man’s ardent k!ss. Her skirt was daringly short, exposing a pair of long legs in black stockings to the air.
“President Gu from Hainan has agreed to place a custom order for our swimwear. One thousand sets of each sample we sent!” I announced calmly, holding up the contract.
“W-what?” Director Wang’s expression changed at once, while Sun Dan’s brows furrowed slightly.
“Supervisor Lin, you’re not joking, are you? That President Gu is notoriously difficult,” Sun Dan said quickly.
“Exactly, Supervisor Lin, don’t joke about this,” Director Wang echoed, looking at me.
Damn it, so even you two know he’s difficult. Looks like you’ve been underestimating me. Were you discussing this morning how to fire me if the Hainan deal fell through?
Anger flickered within me, but of course I showed nothing.
I walked straight to them and opened the contract. Both leaned in. Up close, my eyes drifted briefly to the deep career line at Sun Dan’s b00bs before pointing to the document. “Here: the order quantity for each style, President Gu’s signature and company seal, and my own signature.”
I deliberately emphasized “my own signature,” making it clear that no one would touch my commission this time.
“It’s actually real. Tsk tsk, several million in orders!” Director Wang grew excited. He turned to Sun Dan at once. “Manager Sun, send the order to the factory production department immediately. We must expedite manufacturing!”
“Yes, Director Wang.” Sun Dan took the contract and made the call to the factory.
“Since Tingmei and Liu Xue also performed outstandingly this time, I intend to give them forty percent of the commission from this order,” I continued.
At my words, I clearly saw Sun Dan’s face twitch. She was evidently unwilling, but Director Wang laughed heartily. “Hahaha, you closed this deal, so the commission allocation is naturally yours to decide.”
“Thank you, Director Wang!” I was overjoyed.
When I left Sun Dan’s office, I distinctly heard her saying something to Director Wang, her tone full of reluctance, while he replied that he only cared about results.
“Brother Nan, how did it go?” Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue asked the moment I returned.
“Forty percent of this order’s commission is yours,” I said with a smile.
“Wow! Thank you, Brother Nan!”
“Brother Nan, you’re amazing!”
Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue were ecstatic, and I felt greatly relieved.
About ten minutes later, I watched Director Wang leave Sun Dan’s office and smirked coldly inside. Sun Dan, you want to trip me up? I simply won’t let you succeed.
Just as I thought this, Sun Dan stepped out of her office and pointed at me.
“Supervisor Lin, come in for a moment.”
At her gesture, I frowned. The rest of the sales department turned to look at me, wondering what else Sun Dan wanted.
Inside her office, Sun Dan closed the door and fixed me with an icy stare. “Lin Nan, you’ve grown quite bold. You actually went over my head to discuss commission splits. Do you no longer respect me?”
Her words ignited my anger. Damn it, if I hadn’t spoken up, you would have taken it all. Were you planning to claim the credit in front of Director Wang? I bet you arranged for him to be here today just to humiliate me and make me lose face.
That was what I thought, but naturally I revealed nothing.
“Manager Sun, I didn’t know Director Wang would be here. But since he was, I naturally expressed my thoughts. Besides, Tingmei and Liu Xue truly contributed greatly on this Hainan trip. Shouldn’t they receive any reward?” I replied confidently.
“Good! Very good! You’re becoming more and more arrogant!” Sun Dan gritted her teeth.
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll return to work,” I said quickly.
“Hold on. Who said you could leave? Director Wang has chosen a brand ambassador, and you will represent the sales department in assisting the advertising team,” Sun Dan said, picking up a document from her desk.
“Assist the advertising department?” I frowned, taking the file to look it over.
“What? You’re unwilling?” Sun Dan sneered.
Damn it, you vicious w0man. What does the advertising department have to do with me? You just want to sideline me and make me run errands there.
Fury surged through me; my fists clenched. I wanted nothing more than to slap this b*tch across the face.
“Fine. You’re the boss. You decide,” I said, spreading my hands.
“Then you may leave.” Sun Dan smiled triumphantly.
Leaving her office, I was livid, barely restraining myself from flipping the desk. Still, I suppressed my anger and sat down.
I took out my phone, thought for a moment, then logged into my alternate WeChat account and looked at Sun Dan’s profile picture.
It’s all because of this w0man. Tonight, I will punish her severely.
With that thought, I immediately sent her a message.
“Miss Sun, I’ve changed my mind. I’m going to release your video publicly.”
Moments later, she replied.
“No, please don’t do this. I beg you, don’t make my video public.”
Seeing her pleading, I glanced toward the glass door of her office. Sun Dan appeared restless inside.
“Wear something $exy tonight and serve me well. You know what I mean,” I typed.
“Yes… yes. Tell me the time and place. I’ll cooperate fully as long as you don’t release the video,” she replied.
“I’ll tell you later. But if you try any tricks, I’ll post it immediately. Remember, I can ruin you in minutes,” I warned.
“I understand. I will satisfy all your demands.”
Seeing her promise, I smiled in triumph.
Just thinking that tonight Sun Dan would become my sl@ve set my bl00d burning. A w0man like her must be made to submit completely. I would make her cry for mercy and pay the price she deserves.
