But I realized that my tip-off last night hadn’t been a bad thing; in fact, it had turned out to be a blessing in disguise, killing two birds with one stone.
Back in my office, I felt reborn. Seeing Zhao Xiaoman again, I felt a pang of pity for her.
“Hmph, Zhao Xiaoman, you never imagined that I would be the real beneficiary.”
I was in high spirits, even calling Zhang Tingmei to make me a cup of coffee.
