G: from chapter 79, MSAS will have full chapter release, no parts. Unless they are more than 1500 words.
Hearing Ian’s words, Aire Elnes’ eyes twinkled.
The idea of defeating the Demon King was so absurd that it wasn’t even used in children’s storybooks. It was the kind of fantasy only a delusional recluse could dream up. The thought of defeating the Demon King had long since become a goal beyond human reach.
Yet, the man standing before her proudly declared that such a foolish notion was his dream.
A fool recognizes a fool.
A genius recognizes a genius.
“Do you have a plan?” Aire asked.
“Not yet,” Ian replied.
“What are your strategies, then?”
“Things will work out.”
“Ahahaha! You have neither a method nor a plan, and yet you say it so proudly?”
Aire burst into laughter, while the maid standing behind her watched in bewilderment, unable to understand why her lady found this nonsense amusing.
“Do you actually believe in such foolishness?” the maid muttered.
“Alright, let’s do it,” Aire said suddenly.
“Miss!?”
The maid, who had been listening in silence, gasped in shock and quickly tried to stop her.
Aire had a habit of making wild decisions, and in moments like these, it was the duty of a vassal to prevent her master from going astray.
“Lady, please reconsider! Defeating the Demon King? The resources alone needed for such an absurd endeavor—”
“Why not?” Aire cut her off.
“Yes?”
“Why not?”
Aire’s twin eyes gleamed as she stared at the maid. If she was going to object, she had better provide a logical and convincing reason.
The maid hesitated. There was only one obvious, common-sense answer, but how could she explain it in a way that her young mistress, who seemed to ignore such basic truths, would understand?
“First of all, no one has ever done it before.”
“Exactly! We’ll be the first!” Aire declared excitedly.
“…That means even the great First Emperor himself failed.”
“Yes! That’s why we must succeed where His Majesty could not.”
“This is ridiculous. You’ll fail for certain.”
“Nivea.”
Aire called the maid’s name, then turned slightly to glare at her with cold eyes.
“I don’t want to hear ‘no, no, no’ from you anymore.”
“But….”
“Ian Clark, can you do it?”
“Of course,” Ian responded, striking an exaggerated pose like a hero from a story before bowing in front of Aire.
“I can.”
“Great! I will provide whatever you need—”
“Ah, then it’s settled.”
Hearing their exchange, the maid felt like she was losing her mind. The first thought that ran through her head was the image of the duke screaming, ‘Why couldn’t you stop her?!’

[Third Person POV]
After Ian had secured all kinds of aid and left, Nivea, now alone with Aire, hesitantly spoke again.
“My lady, if you still wish to reconsider—”
“No!” Aire shouted cheerfully.
She flopped onto her bed, kicking her feet excitedly as she imagined all the privileges Ian would receive once he defeated the Demon King.
To Nivea, it was no different from a beggar holding onto a losing lottery ticket and daydreaming about riches.
“…No matter how much I think about it, I can’t see him succeeding,” Nivea muttered.
“Nivea.”
“Yes, my lady?”
“If… long ago, someone had said humans could summon dragons or mythical heroes, would anyone have believed it?”
“In ancient times? Of course not—there were no summoners back then.”
“But now, even a weaned child believes in the existence of summoners,” Aire pointed out as she sat up. Her usually pure, innocent eyes now held an unusual sharpness.
“If, ten years ago, someone had claimed a person could summon multiple summoned beasts, would anyone have believed it?”
“The Second Coming of the First Emperor hasn’t been seen for hundreds of years, so… perhaps not.”
“Then what about the rumor of a cadet single-handedly defeating a high-ranking demon?”
“If you mean that peasant’s son who had a 4-star summon… well, I suppose it’s not impossible.”
“Then how about taking it one step further—defeating a supreme-ranked demon alone?”
“Impossible.”
Nivea’s firm response made her realize all these questions seemed to be referring to one person.
Each scenario alone sounded ridiculous. But what if all of them belonged to the same individual?
Paradoxically, it could be true.
“I hope all of the things you just told me…” Nivea trailed off.
“He’s a man who has turned what would’ve been considered idiocy a few months ago into reality.”
Some people had the ability to make what seemed like utter nonsense come true.
And people called them heroes.
“His goals are unbelievably foolish, but… they don’t seem entirely impossible.”
Watching the impossible become possible over and over again left people spellbound.
Or maybe… the impossible was merely a self-imposed limit, one that wasn’t actually all that significant?
Maybe that’s what people wanted to believe.
“…Nivea.”
“Yes, my lady?”
“I want cake!”
“I’ll have it prepared at once.”
“Yay—!”
She always acted foolish, yet sometimes, she displayed a striking depth of insight.
Still in awe, Nivea left for the kitchen to carry out her orders.

[Ian’s POV]
After a large lunch, I went out and made my way back to the student cafeteria.
It was already late for lunch, but what could I do? I was still hungry, even after eating so much.
‘Do I have parasites in my stomach or something?’
The thought crossed my mind, but filling my stomach was the priority.
As I returned to my seat with my ordered meal, I noticed Noah and Stella sitting nearby, still eating despite the late hour.
