Chapter 79: All Three Swords Destroyed

In Tianyun City, the fragrance of orchids filled the air, their petals dancing gracefully. However, no one paid them any attention, as an intense battle was unfolding, drawing countless spectators.

High above in the sky, a man in white stood silently, exuding both divine majesty and demonic aura. He loomed like a towering mountain, suffocating the cultivators below with his overwhelming presence.

“Ah!”

Below, Lu Hun’s hair was disheveled as he let out a frenzied roar. His violet sword had been destroyed—it was as if he had lost an arm.

“Brother Lu, there’s no need for such despair. The Sword Immortal Sect’s supreme weapon-controlling technique is unmatched in the world. Against such an insignificant foe, even with just one sword in hand, you can still slay him with ease!”

A sinister voice came from the crowd, arrogant and brimming with disdain. The speaker, dressed in blue, was none other than Huangpu Han of the Huangpu family. Tian Fan had wondered why he hadn’t seen him earlier, and now he had finally appeared.

In the distance, Shangguan Yunfeng frowned as he watched Huangpu Han in the crowd, lost in thought.

“Thank you, Brother Huangpu. I nearly lost myself for a moment!”

Hearing Huangpu Han’s words, Lu Hun broke out in a cold sweat. He quickly stood up from the ground, his eyes once again gleaming with murderous intent as he locked onto Tian Fan.

Whoosh… Whoosh… Whoosh…

Around Huangpu Han, many cultivators were shocked and quickly dispersed, creating an open space. Their fear of the Huangpu family was evident.

Boom!

The battle erupted once again. Lu Hun slowly rose into the air, faint divine radiance swirling around him. His red sword flew back to him, hovering above the golden divine lantern, its tip pointing skyward.

Between the two of them, the azure sword trembled, transforming into countless sword beams. A vast expanse of blue engulfed the world, completely surrounding Tian Fan.

Bang!

Tian Fan remained unfazed. His golden hand struck out repeatedly, shattering one sword beam after another. An endless storm of azure sword Qi surged around him, but not a single strand could get close—all were obliterated by his golden hand.

“Shadow Kill…”

Suddenly, a ghostly voice echoed. A streak of azure light emerged from the countless sword beams, arriving in an instant—so fast that even Tian Fan couldn’t react in time.

Splurt!

It seemed to pierce through space, akin to the legendary art of teleportation. Just a moment ago, the azure sword had been far away, yet in the blink of an eye, it had stabbed through Tian Fan’s right shoulder.

Tian Fan reached out, golden light flowing over his palm. He attempted to pull the azure sword out, but a shocking sight unfolded—his hand passed straight through the sword! It was merely an afterimage.

Above, countless streaks of azure light continued to spread across the sky, relentlessly attacking Tian Fan. Outside the battlefield, Lu Hun’s expression remained indifferent. He had cultivated the Sword Immortal Sect’s supreme weapon-controlling technique, capable of striking from a distance with terrifying precision.

Suddenly, he raised his right hand and flicked his fingers toward Tian Fan.

Splurt!

Tian Fan flinched as another sword pierced his abdomen. Even more alarming was that he hadn’t seen the azure sword’s trajectory—he had no idea from which direction it had attacked.

“Big Brother, that guy is in danger!”

Shangguan Jingyi watched the scene and spoke to Yunfeng. However, instead of looking worried, he seemed pleased—an odd reaction.

“The Sword Immortal Sect’s ‘Sword Control Art’ is indeed formidable. Let’s observe a little longer.”

Shangguan Yunfeng frowned slightly as he observed the battlefield.

At that moment, Tian Fan was in a dire state. He couldn’t see the azure sword’s movements, making it impossible to evade or counterattack. Its shifting trajectory was too bizarre—each strike seemed to appear and vanish in an instant, moving at a terrifying speed.

Splurt!

Once again, Tian Fan’s left shoulder was pierced, blood spilling in torrents. The azure sword’s hardness and sharpness surpassed even the violet sword. Coupled with its immense speed, it managed to pierce through Tian Fan’s flesh—a feat that was truly shocking, considering his body was as resilient as a cultivator in the Primordial Secret Realm.

“Heh, what can you possibly do against me? Today, I’ll cut you down to honor my fallen violet sword!”

Lu Hun’s voice was ice-cold, devoid of emotion. He formed another hand seal, commanding the azure sword to attack once more.

‘This can’t continue!’

Tian Fan thought to himself, frowning slightly. Suddenly, a flash of insight struck him. Gritting his teeth, he activated his Hundred Illusions Technique, filling the sky with his afterimages as they all charged toward Lu Hun.

“Hmph, do you really think this trick will confuse me? How childish!”

Lu Hun sneered. Forming another seal with his hands, a streak of azure light flashed from the distant sky and vanished instantly. The next moment, it reappeared—directly stabbing into Tian Fan’s back shoulder.

All of his afterimages vanished, leaving only a single white figure standing a hundred feet away from Lu Hun. His once-pristine white robes were now soaked in blood.

“I told you—it’s useless against me, isn’t it?”

Lu Hun sneered triumphantly. But in the next moment, his smile vanished completely.

The azure sword was still embedded in Tian Fan’s right shoulder, completely unresponsive to his commands. No matter how he tried to control it, the sword refused to move.

Tian Fan raised his right hand, dazzling golden light surging into the sky. He grabbed the azure sword lodged in his back shoulder and slowly pulled it out. Fresh blood gushed out in torrents.

“You…”

Lu Hun’s face changed drastically.

Boom!

Golden light erupted from Tian Fan’s body, and a brilliant golden “swast!ka” seal slowly rose above his head, exuding a domineering and majestic aura.

The golden “swast!ka” seal spun gently, releasing strands of golden light that enveloped Tian Fan completely. The azure sword in his right hand trembled violently, radiating countless azure rays, but it was useless. The golden divine seal completely suppressed it, rendering it incapable of escaping Tian Fan’s right hand.

Crack!

Tian Fan gazed coldly at Lu Hun. Suddenly, his right hand clenched tightly, forcefully crushing the azure sword. It let out one last mournful cry before shattering, its fragments falling from Tian Fan’s hand and smashing deep holes into the ground with a loud boom, demonstrating its immense weight and hardness.

“Pu…”

Another mouthful of blood spurted from Lu Hun’s mouth. His face was ashen, and a surge of intense hatred welled up within him. He stared at Tian Fan with a ferocious expression. Losing two treasured swords in succession was an immeasurable loss—his heart ached as if bleeding. These were treasures he had refined for eighteen years!

“My god, this way of fighting… ruthless!”

Someone shuddered. Tian Fan’s approach was a battle of mutual destruction, injuring both himself and his enemy.

“A man should be like this. If you want to be ruthless to others, you must first be ruthless to yourself!”

Many male cultivators approved of Tian Fan’s strategy. If not for this, he wouldn’t have been able to seize the lightning-fast azure sword. Though he would sustain severe injuries, it resolved the deadlock.

“This guy…”

From afar, Shangguan Jingyi muttered to himself, his gaze strange as he looked at Tian Fan.

Above Tianyun City, Tian Fan stood coldly, overlooking Lu Hun. Blood stained his clothes, yet an overwhelming battle intent surged from within him, his aura growing even stronger.

In the vastness of the heavens, the gate to the mid-stage of Cloud Heaven opened slightly for him once again. At this moment, he had truly set one foot into the realm of Cloud Heaven’s mid-stage. Although only one foot had stepped over the threshold, countless martial arts insights surged toward him as if countless battle instincts were awakening.

“Arrrgh…”

Tian Fan couldn’t help but let out a long howl toward the sky. His immense aura spread out like rolling waves, creating violent gusts of wind that howled in all directions. Many cultivators struggled to resist, fearing they might be swept away by this sheer force.

Lu Hun’s eyes were filled with venom as he glared at Tian Fan. He had never expected Tian Fan to fight in such a brutal manner. His strongest azure sword had not only failed to kill Tian Fan but had even helped him step halfway into the mid-stage of Cloud Heaven. Boundless hatred filled his face, and a terrifying killing intent radiated from his body. The red sword above his head burst into an even more intense crimson glow.

“Kill!”

With a thunderous roar, Lu Hun poured all his divine power into the crimson sword above him. Bathed in divine power, the red sword trembled excitedly, letting out a jubilant sword cry. A blood-red sword net emerged from its body, rippling gently, yet exuding an overwhelming killing intent. Many people could even smell the stench of blood.

Though Tian Fan had already stepped one foot into the mid-stage of Cloud Heaven, he remained highly vigilant. He knew that disciples of the Sword Immortal Sect were never ordinary—especially a prodigy at the peak of Cloud Heaven. But he had no fear. This was the perfect moment to test his true combat strength—how could he back down? A sky-piercing battle intent erupted from his body, shaking the air with a rumbling sound.

“Come!”

With a powerful shout, the golden “swast!ka” seal hovering above his head spun slowly before descending, meeting the blood-red sword net head-on.

Boom!

The two seals clashed, unleashing violent energy waves and dazzling divine radiance. Gold and red divine light intertwined across the sky, transforming into luminous orbs that plummeted toward the city below.

“Pu…”

Some cultivators who failed to evade in time were struck by the falling orbs, instantly reduced to blood mist. Their shattered remains plummeted to the ground, sending chills down the spines of many. Such power was terrifying—the mere shockwaves were enough to instantly kill several mid-stage Condensing Spirit cultivators.

Boom!

Countless silver ancient characters emerged from Tian Fan’s body, floating around him. A sacred aura surged outward, and almost everyone felt as if they were being bathed in a warm current. The silver characters slowly ascended into the sky, forming a massive silver “Suppress (镇)” character that radiated dazzling brilliance.

Having stepped one foot into the mid-stage of Cloud Heaven, his understanding of the Five Elements Technique had advanced to a new level.

“Suppress (镇)!”

Tian Fan shouted coldly. The silver “Suppress (镇)” character in the sky rapidly descended, carrying an irresistible force as it crashed down upon the crimson divine sword that had yet to be withdrawn.

Buzz…

The crimson sword trembled violently, letting out mournful cries, but it could not defy fate. The sacred power of the Suppress (镇) character suppressed everything, shattering the sword into countless fragments with a thunderous boom.

“Pu…”

With his treasured sword destroyed, Lu Hun spat out another mouthful of blood. The losses he suffered today were unbearable. The three supreme treasures he had refined for eighteen years—all gone in an instant.

“Ah!”

Lu Hun roared, his face contorted in a terrifying expression for the first time. The golden divine lantern hovering above his head erupted with a dazzling glow, sending waves of golden rings outward.

A strange and eerie aura spread throughout the battlefield…
