Chapter 1: Sister-in-law

Fangfang is my cousin’s fiancée—stunningly beautiful. The first time I saw her, I was completely captivated. I never imagined my cousin could land someone like her.

My cousin is thirty-six, divorced three times. Fangfang is only twenty-three, seven years younger than me.

In our hometown, there’s a custom: before marriage, the couple must “pass the door”—meet both families and hold a banquet.

At the banquet, I saw Fangfang in a red qipao. Her perfect curves left me stunned. Even my wife was surprised—none of us expected my cousin’s luck.

Since it was just the engagement banquet, Fangfang couldn’t stay at his place. I didn’t see her again for three months. I thought that was it.

Then, a few days ago, my cousin called—he was coming to Shanghai and wanted to crash at my place.

I agreed happily. But when I picked them up at the airport, there she was again.

Today’s Fangfang wore a tight black skirt, carrying an LV bag—curves in all the right places, absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t help stealing a few extra glances.

“Don’t recognize your sister-in-law anymore?” My cousin grinned.

“Xiao Nan, long time no see.” Fangfang smiled at me.

“Hello, sister-in-law.” I quickly greeted her.

Even though she’s younger than me, I still have to call her that—she’s my cousin’s bride-to-be.

My cousin is a spoiled rich kid and a total playboy. All three ex-wives left because they couldn’t stand his habits—cheating being the main one.

We had dinner near my place. Then he said he wanted to hit a nightclub in Shanghai and asked me to take them.

I was surprised. Fangfang gave an awkward smile—she clearly knew what he was like.

He insisted, so I took them to the hottest club in town.

Big spender that he is, he got a VIP booth and called two hostesses “for me”—though everyone knew who they were really for.

While drinking and watching the dance floor, Fangfang looked uncomfortable. She said, “Bathroom,” and slipped away.

“Cuz, is sister-in-law mad?” I asked worriedly.

“Mad my a$$. I paid off her dad’s two-million gambling debt, or he’d be dead by now!” he sneered.

“W-what?”

“What? Can’t I play around? We had an agreement—if she doesn’t like it, she can get lost!”

He was drunk, rambling. The two girls quickly flanked him, comforting him left and right.

Only then did I understand—Fangfang wasn’t with him willingly. She had no choice.

Watching him grope them without a care for her, I suddenly felt bad for Fangfang. I excused myself to the bathroom.

In the hallway, I found her.

She was biting her lip, eyes red, trying to breathe deeply to calm herself before going back.

“Sister-in-law, you okay?” I hurried over.

“I’m… fine. You too, Xiao Nan?” She wiped her tears with a tissue, forcing a smile.

“My cousin’s just drunk. Don’t take it to heart—he’s always like this.”

“I know. Thank you, Xiao Nan.” She nodded and walked back.

When she returned, he made the girls move and pulled her beside him, then kept drinking with them. I got forced into a few shots too.

“Xiao Nan, National Day wedding with your sister-in-law. Bring your wife,” he said after a few rounds.

“Sure, I’ll be there.” I glanced at Fangfang and nodded.

“Tomorrow I’m taking her to buy a diamond ring. You know Shanghai—show us around.”

“No problem.”

I hadn’t realized this trip was for the ring. But thinking of Fangfang becoming his… I felt sorry for her. His three ex-wives didn’t even last two years each. A w0man’s best years are short—I worried she’d be the fourth he tossed aside.

Tch, why do I even care?

I scolded myself. Around midnight, I finally got them home.

I put them in the guest room, washed up, and crashed—head spinning from the alcohol.

Ten minutes later…

“Nn… no, don’t…”

“Jealous earlier? Let me love you properly now!”

“Stop… Xiao Nan’s next door, don’t wake him…”

“Who cares? His wife is always abroad—he’s practically single. Let him hear what a real man sounds like!”

The voices kept going. The alcohol vanished from my system; my heart raced.

I never expected my cousin to jump her the second they arrived.

Thinking of Fangfang being treated like that made me tense and upset.

The noises grew louder. I couldn’t take it—I crept to the balcony connecting the rooms.

Crouching by their window, I peeked through the curtain gap.

My cousin was already all over her, k!ssing wildly. Fangfang lay beneath him—reluctant but not fighting hard, trying to cooperate.

Her current state was just… too much.

My heart pounded harder.

I swallowed, watching him roughly k!ss her, his coarse hands roaming freely. Tension built inside me.

“No… Jiahau, stop!” Fangfang panicked, legs kicking lightly, trying not to make too much noise.

Time froze. My face burned. I’d never witnessed anything like this. Calm? Impossible.

Deep down, I almost wished I could take his place.

Reminder: I think expectations for this novel needs to be set at the beginning. This one will read like a typical korean p0rnhua. There will be zero regards for v!rginity, or cha$tity for most w0men. Except a few loyal ones, being loyal to each other depend on personal benefits, and any kind of cheating is mutual. The premise is the corporate world and selfishness is the law. The protagonist will start as a beta, a bottom feeder, but will change to an alpha as the story progresses. So, you should read with that kind of mindset.
