“Of course. The hotel was booked before we left Shanghai,” Sun Dan said calmly.
Hearing this, I nodded slightly. Soon, the car left the city and headed toward Hangzhou.
Sitting close to Sun Dan in the back seat, I couldn’t help noticing the rich perfume on her. I wondered whether this w0man had something going with our boss—how else had she parachuted into the sales department last year?
My thoughts wandered as I stole glances at her. When my eyes fell on the fullness of her b00bs, I felt my composure waver.
Damn, they were huge—at least a D cup, maybe more.
Around two in the afternoon, we arrived at the hotel in Hangzhou.
“Lin Nan, you can rest this afternoon. The dinner meeting tonight is at the Grand Hangzhou Hotel. Come with me then,” Sun Dan said as she entered her room, not forgetting to remind me.
I nodded quickly in agreement.
My room was next to hers. As soon as I closed the door and prepared to rest, my phone rang.
It was my cousin. For him to call at this hour, something must be up.
“Hey, Cousin,” I answered promptly.
“Xiao Nan, can you come back earlier? Your sister-in-law’s best friend arrives in Changsha the day after tomorrow. Before the wedding, Fang wants to take her around the city.”
“Sister-in-law’s best friend?” I frowned.
“You know our local custom—we can’t meet before the wedding. I have no choice but to trouble you with this,” he added.
“Cousin, I’m on a business trip in Hangzhou right now, and the schedule isn’t fixed. I’ll call you tonight, alright?”
“Fine. I’ll wait for your call.” He hung up.
I took a deep breath, anxiety rising. I absolutely had to return tomorrow—no matter what. This was my last chance. Even if Sun Dan refused to let me go, I would leave.
A few minutes later, Fang called. She admitted she had asked my cousin to phone me, hoping I would play host and show her friend around Changsha. After all, once the wedding day arrived, everything would change.
I lay on the bed, chatting with Fang on WeChat. She sent several photos—still as beautiful as ever. She said tomorrow night she would be free; after that, it would be difficult for us to be alone again.
Hearing this, I promised without hesitation that I would definitely return tomorrow, no matter how busy I was.
The evening banquet was held at the Grand Hangzhou Hotel. Sun Dan and I arrived and were led by the waiter into a VIP private room.
This was Hangzhou’s most luxurious five-star hotel, decorated in opulent splendor. Since we arrived first, we waited for the client. Sun Dan contacted her again and reminded me to be thoroughly professional.
About half an hour later, the door opened. A mature, elegant w0man in a form-fitting deep-purple dress stepped in. She was around 165 cm tall, carrying an exquisite handbag, her long waterfall-like hair reaching her wa!st and gently lifted by the perfect curve of her a$$. She glanced at me in surprise, then shook hands with Sun Dan.
“Manager Sun, sorry to keep you waiting. And this handsome young man is?” the mature beauty asked with a smile, turning her eyes to me.
“President Qu, this is Lin Nan, our company’s sales supervisor. Lin Nan, this is President Qu—Qu Na,” Sun Dan introduced quickly.
Hearing her name, I stepped forward and shook her hand. “Hello, President Qu. I didn’t expect you to be so beautiful.”
“Mr. Lin certainly knows how to flatter,” Qu Na replied with a faint smile. “Manager Sun, shall we eat while we talk?”
Sun Dan told the waiter to serve the dishes and poured Qu Na a glass of red wine.
I hadn’t expected this major client to be such a stunning w0man. She appeared to be around forty, yet mature and voluptuous. Tonight’s outfit especially made the fullness of her b00bs almost burst forth; the sight left me momentarily dazed.
“How old are you this year, Mr. Lin? You look so young,” Qu Na asked, clearly interested, raising her glass toward me.
“Thirty,” I answered, a slight blush rising as I lifted my own glass.
“Your Daifen brand is women’s fashion, isn’t it? How come you hire men?” Qu Na sipped her wine and looked at Sun Dan.
The question embarrassed me, but Sun Dan smoothly explained, “President Qu, you don’t know Lin Nan’s capabilities yet. Although Daifen focuses on women’s clothing, Supervisor Lin is outstanding in sales. He understands brand positioning perfectly and has deep insight into what w0men truly want.”
“Brand positioning and what w0men want?” Qu Na raised an eyebrow, then turned to me. “Mr. Lin, care to elaborate?”
Sun Dan shot me a meaningful glance: at this moment, any hesitation could cost us the deal.
Of course I understood the stakes. From the first look at Qu Na, I could tell she was a powerful w0man—cool and aloof on the surface, yet burning inside. That deep-purple dress alone revealed much.
I stood, took a sample from my bag—a pink lace-trimmed women’s bra, undeniably $exy—and held it up.
Qu Na looked at me in astonishment; she clearly hadn’t expected me to produce women’s lingerie at the dinner table.
“President Qu, Daifen serves w0men, and our lingerie line is the most crucial part. When a w0man wears beautiful, $exy lingerie, who is it really for?” I asked calmly, meeting her gaze.
Sun Dan looked surprised, but Qu Na smiled. “For whom?”
“For the man she loves, of course. Men are like children—once they see the w0man they love in $exy lingerie, they can’t keep their hands off her. So rather than calling lingerie a daily necessity for w0men, I’d say it is the preservative of marriage and love.”
Sun Dan glanced nervously between us.
“Excellent! Lingerie—the preservative of love!” Qu Na exclaimed, her smile widening.
“Come, President Qu, let’s drink to that,” Sun Dan seized the moment, raising her glass.
I lifted mine as well, yet I felt something odd: Qu Na’s eyes kept roaming over my b0dy as if she wanted to devour me.
After several rounds of drinks, I excused myself to the restroom. When I returned, Qu Na was gone; only Sun Dan remained.
“What happened, Manager Sun?” I asked, puzzled.
Everything had been going well—had I said something wrong?
“Lin Nan, this is the name card President Qu left. She said if we want to sign the contract, you must go see her personally,” Sun Dan said with interest, handing me the card.
“Me? Personally? Where is she?” I asked, stunned.
“I don’t know the exact place, but I do know President Qu is very interested in you. Whether we close this deal now depends entirely on your performance,” Sun Dan replied, arms folded, clearly intending for me to meet Qu Na alone.
