Chapter 10: Manager Sun

Taking a deep breath, I desperately wanted to go to Fangfang’s side, but remembering work tomorrow, I hesitated and called my boss.

“Hello?” A w0man’s voice answered; it was Sun Na, our sales manager.

“Manager Sun, I’d like three days of annual leave, returning after National Day,” I said hurriedly.

“Are you joking? You know this month’s targets aren’t met, and you ask for leave? You’re sales supervisor—how can you lead if you’re absent?” Sun Na snapped.

“N-no, my cousin’s wedding is on National Day; I need to help prepare,” I explained.

“No. Come in tomorrow. Leave only after targets are hit.”

Beep beep beep.

She hung up. My face darkened.

Sun Na, you bloodsucking hag, you old maid, you’re insane, nearly forty and still unmarried!

Rage surged; I wanted to slap her hard. But helplessly, this tigress was my superior—I couldn’t lose my job. Always suppressed by her, when would I rise?

Sometimes I thought Sun Na resembled my wife: fiercely career-driven. My wife at least married me, but Sun Na never considered marriage, still single. Colleagues whispered she was an old v!rgin, never seen dating.

Seeing Fangfang had to wait. Next morning at the office, as I booted my computer, Sun Na appeared.

“Supervisor Lin, this afternoon you’re coming with me to Hangzhou to meet a client,” she said coldly, arms folded.

The sales team fell silent like mice spotting a cat. I smiled awkwardly and nodded.

Sun Na stood 1.68 meters tall in a black business suit. Though nearing forty, she maintained herself superbly—beautiful with a voluptuous figure. Colleagues said this tigress could live off her looks yet chose to toil into an old w0man at the company.

My history with her: after graduating, years of climbing to sales supervisor, expecting manager or even East China director. Then headquarters parachuted Sun Na in as sales manager.

Though resentful, I followed her to her office.

Behind her, I watched her newly permed waves sway, her rounded a$$ moving side to side. The w0man was indeed full and $exy, if only her temper weren’t vile.

Inside, she shut the door, grabbed a folder from the desk, and tossed it to me.

“Lin Nan, here’s the sales order and contract for this client. Review it,” Sun Na said indifferently.

I opened it, scanned, then frowned at her.

“Don’t look at me like that. It’s a big order. Close it and you can take leave. I’m giving you a chance,” she continued, settling into a sofa chair and crossing her legs.

Her professional ultra-short skirt revealed today’s difference: careful makeup, colored contacts, vivid red nail polish, black stockings—clearly prepared for the client.

“Really? Close this and I get leave?” I asked eagerly.

With leave, I could see Fangfang, hold her tenderly—I refused to miss it.

“Of course. When have I lied? I know you resent me, but the company values ability. Show it and take my job. Fail, and I can have you fired,” Sun Na smiled coldly, sipping coffee.

“But the items are w0men’s lingerie. Should I bring Xiao Zhang and Xiao Liu?” I suggested.

My assistants often joined deals; bold, attractive, good at modeling to highlight products.

“No need. The client is female—she won’t fall for that,” Sun Na rejected instantly.

“This—” I started, speechless.

D*mn, is she setting me up to fail? W0men’s lingerie—expect me to model? Or planning to fire me if I flop?

Anger boiled, but I swallowed it.

“One hour to get ready. Bring overnight luggage. Wait in the car park, then we leave for Hangzhou,” Sun Na ordered.

“Huh?” I blinked.

“Look at that wrinkled suit—how can you meet a client? Change!” she added.

“Fine.” I inhaled deeply and left.

Fists clenched, I nearly exploded. This w0man needed a lesson. Tonight I’d make her look foolish.

At home, I changed into a new blue suit—saved for the wedding, now needed early.

It elevated my presence instantly. Packing, fixing my hair, I drove to the company.

Sun Na waited in the car park. I loaded my luggage into the trunk; she signaled the driver to go.

“Lin Nan, this deal is vital. The client handles import-export in Hangzhou. Close it and your commission will be generous,” Sun Na chattered beside me in the back seat.

Up close, her blouse was unbuttoned two lower, revealing glimpses of full white b00bs, the deep cleavage quickening my pulse. This old w0man was remarkably lush and $exy—I’d never sat this near her.

“Understood, Manager Sun,” I nodded slightly.

“Also, we’re staying overnight. Entertain the client with drinks tonight,” she glanced at me with a faint smile.

Just then, my eyes lingered on her black-stockinged thighs. I almost stared openly before catching myself.

“Overnight?” I asked, puzzled.

Damn, first business trip staying with Sun Na. Tonight I could try getting her drunk.
