“Sister-in-law, you are truly beautiful!” I could not wait to speak, just as I was about to remove the last piece of fabric from Fangfang, a loud shout rang out.
“Stinking b!tch, where the h*ll are you? You trying to thirst me to death? I want water, I want water!”
That voice struck me like lightning. I jolted in fright, while Fangfang hurriedly pulled her skirt down and quickly left the bathroom, heading toward the bedroom.
“I was just showering. I’ll get you water right now.”
“Hurry up, I’m dying of thirst!”
“Okay, okay!”
“Later come give me head, I need to blow off steam!”
Hearing this string of words, I clenched my fists tightly. Whether my cousin was drunk and acting crazy or it was simply his nature, the way he called Fangfang “stinking b*tch” one after another was utterly intolerable. If I didn’t want to get involved in their family affairs, I would have beaten him senseless.
I returned to my room, all desire gone. I had thought something would happen between Fangfang and me tonight, but now I knew there would be no chance.
About half an hour later, I heard vomiting from next door—it was Fangfang. The thought of her giving my cousin oral made my bl00d boil, yet shortly afterward, Fangfang sent me a WeChat message.
“Xiao Nan, I’m sorry about just now. I didn’t know your cousin would wake up.”
“Sister-in-law, how can he treat you like that? Swearing at you and forcing you to do things you don’t want.” I was furious.
“Xiao Nan, your cousin did save my father’s life. If he hadn’t lent those two million, my father would have been beaten to death by debt collectors. I owe him that.” Fangfang said again.
“If only I had two million… sigh.” I let out a long breath, feeling Fangfang was worth so much more.
“Xiao Nan, your cousin is asleep now. Are you still uncomfortable? If you are, Sister-in-law can come over and give herself to you.” Fangfang continued.
“Sister-in-law, you should rest early. We’re not in a rush. We can wait until it’s convenient for both of us.” I hurriedly replied.
Indeed, if my cousin suddenly woke again, what then? It wasn’t safe now. Waiting a couple more days would be fine.
Hearing this, Fangfang agreed. She sent me a “good night” on WeChat and finally went to sleep. As for me, I kept thinking of ways to be alone with her. I couldn’t help recalling the scene in the bathroom earlier and relieved myself.
The next morning, Fangfang had prepared a sumptuous breakfast. She called my cousin to eat, and I saw him sitting at the table.
“Xiao Nan, sorry for troubling you these past two days. When I get married, you have to drink a few extra cups.” My cousin grinned at me and gestured for me to sit beside him.
“Cousin, Yanzi probably can’t attend your wedding this time. Her company isn’t giving holiday for National Day; she’s still abroad and likely won’t return until Christmas.”
I quickly explained that my wife couldn’t come.
“Ah? Yanzi’s that busy?” My cousin frowned.
“Yes, really sorry.” I smiled awkwardly.
“No problem, your presence is enough. Oh, right—come a day early to help out.” My cousin nodded understandingly, then changed the subject.
“No problem.” I smiled back and glanced at Fangfang.
“Let’s eat first, then head to the airport.” My cousin picked up his chopsticks.
At that moment, Fangfang and I exchanged a look. Some things were stuck in my throat; I had to speak. I turned to my cousin and took a deep breath.
“What is it, Xiao Nan? Something on your mind?” My cousin noticed and asked.
“Cousin, last night when you were drunk, do you remember cursing at Sister-in-law?” I stared hard at him, clearly intending to call him out.
“W-what? Did that happen? I don’t remember. I always black out when I drink.” My cousin glanced between Fangfang and me, then hurriedly added.
“I’m saying, Cousin, you and Sister-in-law are about to be married. Of course I hope you two will live harmoniously.” I forced a smile and patted his shoulder.
“Fangfang, did I really swear at you last night? I was really drunk—don’t take it to heart. I’m marrying you because I truly love you; otherwise why would I?” My cousin spoke earnestly, clearly apologizing.
“Jiahao, I don’t blame you.” Fangfang was, as always, understanding, but I knew she was unhappy inside.
After breakfast, I drove them to the airport and watched them disappear from sight before letting out a deep breath. I had reminded my cousin only because I hoped he would treat Fangfang better.
Soon, Fangfang messaged me, thanking me for speaking up for her. My cousin had realized he could be a b*stard sometimes and said he wanted to live properly from now on.
Perhaps because he’d been stood up in Shanghai this time, his conscience had awakened a little. Yet when I returned to my empty house, I felt a touch of melancholy.
National Day was still several days away, and after the weekend I’d have to return to work tomorrow. But my mind was entirely on Fangfang—how could I focus on work? I told her to message me when she got home safely, and she agreed.
Around three in the afternoon, Fangfang reported she was safe and even sent me her location.
The location was not my cousin’s house, which surprised me. I later learned that after arriving, they had parted ways—tradition held that the bride and groom could not meet in the days just before the wedding.
“Sister-in-law, I miss you.” I quickly replied.
“Xiao Nan, I miss you too. But you’re in Shanghai and I’m in Changsha; we’re so far apart.” Fangfang answered.
“Yes, if only we could be together right now.” I sighed.
“Xiao Nan, how long has it been since you last did it?” Fangfang abruptly changed the topic.
Hearing this, I started counting—and was shocked to realize that this year, apart from during Spring Festival with my wife, I hadn’t done it once. During May Day my wife was in Shanghai, but she had her period then.
When I told Fangfang, she laughed and said no wonder I was so pent up; when we met she would definitely take good care of me.
Her words made my heart bloom. I decided to ask my boss if I could take a few annual leave days to connect with National Day.
“Sister-in-law, if I suddenly appeared in front of you, what would you do?” The more I thought about it, the more excited I became.
“If you came, I’d wear a $exy ultra-short skirt and let you do whatever you want to me.” Fangfang replied, sending a flying-k!ss emoji.
“Really?” I grinned mischievously.
“Of course. My peri0d is coming in a few days—better hurry.” She added.
Oh my god, this was blatant provocation. Heat surged through my b0dy. I quickly asked her to take selfies in $exy lingerie for me, but Fangfang said if I wanted to see, I had to come in person.
