Chapter 28: Selfies

“You… what did you say?” Sun Dan gasped.

“Hurry up, or the video goes public!” I snarled.

“F-fine!” She hastily agreed.

I pocketed the phone, smug with triumph. If Sun Dan ever dared defy me again, this was how I’d deal with her.

“Brother Nan, why the big grin?” Zhang Tingmei blinked her large eyes at me; Liu Xue looked equally curious.

“Nothing. This Hainan trip, we give it everything. Close the deal and the commission will be generous for you both!” I said quickly.

“Yes, we’ll do our best.” Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue nodded eagerly.

Soon we boarded. Several hours later we landed in Hainan.

The moment we stepped off the plane, several messages popped up on my phone.

Opening them, I froze.

Sun Dan had sent multiple selfies from a company restroom cubicle. The first few were modest, just in underwear, but the last ones left her entire b0dy exposed.

“Is this enough? Please, please don’t release the video. I beg you!”

The photos and her pleading text set my bl00d racing. I replied: “Good performance. For now I won’t trouble you, but you must keep cooperating.”

“I understand. As long as you don’t release it, anything is fine.” She answered instantly.

“Alright. We’ll see how you behave.” I sent, then pocketed the phone.

We left the airport, took a taxi, and headed to the pre-booked four-star hotel. Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue shared a room opposite mine.

After dropping the luggage, I called the two girls over.

“Brother Nan, what’s the plan?”

“Yes, are you worried about tonight’s entertainment?”

They looked at me expectantly.

“Dress sharply tonight. Don’t offend the client,” I reminded them.

“Don’t worry, Brother Nan. Once the drinks flow, the deal is ours,” Zhang Tingmei grinned.

“Good. Rest a bit first. Battle starts later.” I nodded and dismissed them.

Once alone, I locked the door, lay on the bed, and pondered.

Would Sun Dan dare speak out under this pressure?

Putting myself in her place, I concluded she wouldn’t dare. I wasn’t truly blackm@iling her into desperation. Since she could give herself to Director Wang, what difference would another man make?

While I gloated, He Lulu rang to say she’d come to Shanghai late October and wanted my help finding a flat. Then I saw Fangfang’s Moments: she and my cousin were honeymooning in the Maldives, posting food and scenery. They looked genuinely happy.

Yet when I saw Fangfang in a bikini, unwillingness surged. In that skimpy three-point style, the thin fabric revealed the faint outline of a camel toe between her jade thighs.

Plump and alluring, utterly captivating. Fangfang truly was exquisite.

I sighed, closed my eyes, and napped.

Around five in the evening, I met Zhang Tingmei and Liu Xue in the hotel lobby.

Zhang Tingmei wore a white feather-trimmed ultra-short skirt that bared her snowy thighs. A low-cut cardigan revealed a deep career line, accentuating her curvaceous figure. Her waterfall-like hair reached her wa!st; she stood tall and graceful, beauty enhanced by contact lenses and false lashes.

Liu Xue refused to be outdone: a blue skirt slit high on both sides, twin ponytails emphasising cuteness. With every step the slits flashed plump, pale thighs—lethal allure.

I had personally nurtured them from ordinary sales staff; their base pay and bonuses were the highest, and I always gave them top year-end ratings.

“Brother Nan!”

“Hey, Brother Nan, what’s wrong?”

They spoke together. I had been staring, stunned by how stunning my two subordinates looked—nearly entranced.

“You… you both look beautiful tonight,” I managed, embarrassed.

“Brother Nan, such a sweet m0uth. No wonder you won a beauty like Sister Yanzi,” Zhang Tingmei laughed. Liu Xue smiled brightly too.

“Tonight we meet President Gu, the big shot in Hainan’s clothing retail. Swimwear sells fast here by the sea. Your performance decides everything,” I said, checking the time.

“Got it, Brother Nan. It’s set for six. Shall we wait in the private room?” Liu Xue asked.

“You go ahead with the samples, Liu Xue. Tingmei, stay with me in the lobby to greet President Gu,” I decided.

“Understood.” Liu Xue left briskly.

I motioned Zhang Tingmei to sit beside me, but my mind was uneasy. I’d dealt with Hainan before and knew exactly what kind of man President Gu was: a thug and a lecher.

He loved taking advantage, and if he got none, he refused to sign. His rule: single orders only, never long-term contracts.

Right on six, a white Bentley pulled up outside the revolving doors. A bald man in a plaid shirt stepped out, escorted by staff.

“President Gu is here!” I stood quickly; Zhang Tingmei followed.

He was about one-seventy, neither fat nor thin, but a vicious scar ran from brow to chin—rumour said he’d earned it seizing clothing trade at tourist spots years ago.

“President Gu, at last!” I beamed, hurrying forward.

“Good evening, President Gu!” Zhang Tingmei smiled sweetly.

He glanced at me, then openly sized up Zhang Tingmei, beady eyes lingering on her b00bs and slender wa!st before breaking into a leer.

“Supervisor Lin, who’s this beauty?”

“President Gu, allow me to introduce my assistant, Miss Zhang Tingmei,” I said promptly.

“Tsk tsk, the w0men at Daifen really are something.” He clicked his tongue appreciatively, then extended his hand toward Zhang Tingmei, clearly intending more than a handshake.
