Chapter 19: So What?

Indeed, this was truly a message from He Lulu.

I took a deep breath and quickly replied.

“Is this for real? You’re not joking with me, are you?”

After sending that, my heart began to race. If He Lulu was merely testing me, then it would end here.

Not long after, He Lulu immediately sent another message.

“Brother Nan, I just want to see you. Is that not allowed? Or are you afraid Fangfang will find out?”

Good heavens! This girl was serious!

I hurriedly typed back: “Alright, I’ll come over soon to chat with you. But you’ve been out all day and must be tired—you have to rest early.”

“Mmm, Brother Nan, I’ll wait for you!”

Slipping the phone into my pocket, I pressed the accelerator and sped toward the Sheraton Hotel.

Soon, He Lulu sent me her room number. Following it, I arrived at the door of her room in the Sheraton.

I knocked lightly. With a creak, the door swung open at once. There stood He Lulu in a beautiful black silk nightgown, smiling as she looked me up and down, then glanced outside the door.

“What, were you worried I didn’t come alone?” I laughed.

My God, He Lulu was utterly enchanting. In that sheer nightgown, I could faintly discern the perfect curves of her figure.

“Yes, I was afraid Fangfang might come too.” He Lulu grinned, led me inside, closed the door, and turned the lock.

That small action did not escape my notice. A thrill of nervous excitement coursed through me.

He Lulu and Fangfang were best friends, roughly the same age. It had been a long time since I had been this close to such a young, beautiful w0man. Though Fangfang and I had grown closer these past few days, we had never quite crossed that final line. Now, facing He Lulu, I felt as though lady luck had finally smiled upon me.

“Brother Nan, why are you still standing there? Come sit.” He Lulu spoke as she walked to the coffee table and bent to pour me tea.

“Oh, right.” I quickly settled onto the sofa. Watching her back as she poured, gazing at that slender wa!st and those full, graceful curves, I involuntarily swallowed.

In the daytime long dress, I hadn’t seen clearly, but now in this short nightgown, I instantly realized He Lulu possessed an exquisite figure—fair and tender. Compared to my wife, I suddenly felt my wife had truly aged. A girl just past twenty was indeed different.

“Brother Nan, your tea.” He Lulu turned slowly, handed me the cup, and sat down beside me.

“Thank you.” I smiled somewhat awkwardly.

“Brother Nan, are you afraid of me? Why are you acting so different from earlier? When we were together before, you said whatever was on your mind. Now you seem… strange.” He Lulu blinked her large eyes at me as she spoke.

Crimson lips and pearly teeth, her breath fragrant, long hair cascading to her wa!st—He Lulu’s beauty was no less than Fangfang’s. Yet in every gesture, I sensed she was far bolder, radiating a wild, maddening allure.

“How could I be afraid of you? Where do I seem strange?” I hurriedly composed myself and spoke with feigned confidence.

“Brother Nan, Fangfang told me your wife is on a long business trip abroad and rarely returns. Is that true?” He Lulu smiled, abruptly changing the subject.

“Ah? She even told you that?” I asked in surprise.

“Fangfang and I are best friends; besides, it’s no secret.” He Lulu laughed lightly.

“Yes, my wife is indeed very busy and seldom comes home.” I nodded slightly, admitting the truth.

At my words, He Lulu rose slowly and paced before me in her slippers, her perfect figure swaying enticingly. I felt my m0uth grow dry and hastily took a sip of tea.

“So even if your wife had an affair abroad, Brother Nan, you wouldn’t know, would you?” He Lulu suddenly said.

“You—don’t talk nonsense. My wife would never do such a thing.” I stood up at once, my expression darkening.

“Brother Nan, your wife is away year-round. Can you guarantee a w0man alone for so long won’t stray? As the saying goes, a w0man at thirty is like a wolf, at forty like a tiger. Who can predict these things?” He Lulu continued, swaying her h!ps. At times I realized this w0man was far from simple—her words were not those of an ordinary girl just past twenty.

“What exactly are you trying to say?” I asked in a low voice. Truthfully, I would not allow anyone to speak ill of my wife. Though my parents harbored some resentment toward her over the matter of children, they never questioned her character.

“Brother Nan, every w0man has her needs. You’re so handsome—from the first moment I saw you today, I felt you were the man for me.” He Lulu stepped closer, gazing straight into my eyes until I grew dazed.

“Lulu, stop joking. I’m over thirty and married. How could we ever be happy together?” I tried to refuse, yet my eyes could not leave her b0dy.

Goodness, she was breathtaking.

I forcibly suppressed the heat rising within me. I knew I must not let anything happen with He Lulu—if Fangfang found out, what would I be?

“Brother Nan, don’t you like me? I’ve already broken up with my boyfriend. I’m single now.” As she spoke, He Lulu suddenly threw her arms around me.

In that instant, the softness of her b0dy pressed against mine, leaving me stunned.

“You’re beautiful and young—any man would like you,” I stammered.

“Then why?” He Lulu persisted, her hand inadvertently brushing my chest.

Could it be that tonight I was the one being seduced?

Shock surged through me, yet He Lulu’s allure was irresistible. Any man who met her would fall to his knees—and utterly.

“Lulu, I—”

Before I could finish, He Lulu cut in: “Brother Nan, I have the right to like you. You can’t stop me from liking you.”

“I—” I stared at her, dumbfounded.

“Yes, Brother Nan, you’re married—but so what? I just want to be with you. I won’t ask you to take responsibility, I won’t disrupt your life, and I won’t let Fangfang know about us. I only want one beautiful memory with you.” He Lulu continued.

“Really?” I asked uncertainly.

My God—He Lulu was offering herself willingly, asking nothing in return, promising not to interfere with my life, wanting only a beautiful memory!

Already my mind began picturing what might soon happen between us.

“Brother Nan, tonight… will you be good to me?” He Lulu whispered, taking my hand and leading me toward the large bed.
